Hence them needing to pay more. They don't get better tax reliefs. But they do have options on how to avoid paying tax. Subtle difference
What? And yeah they can put a lot of things through as business expenses which lot of us have to pay normal tax on.
Don't know, managed to confuse myself I agree they should pay more bit you have to also acknowledge they don't get as much in return too
Pros and cons to both, but it is also their choice to be self employed and not have sickness benefit company pension etc. 99% will earn more pay as well, we have contractors that set up their own contracting company because the daily rate they can charge dwarfs the extras they'd get in company benefits. the reason they paid less originally was because they didn't have access to certain pension entitlements, which they do now get so are paying less for the same benefits. It's still not even as high as the NI I pay as an employed person either so still getting better deal in that regard.
You could easily argue that it is employees choice to be employed raster than self employed. It's a non-argument.
A lot of self employed deal in cash so how much tax is paid is a little bit optional, I believe. I am PAYE and when I see the amount of tax and Ni I pay I do wonder where it all goes, probably to pay for the ever expanding bureaucracy and masses of advisers/consultants government seem to require these days. I don't mind paying high rate tax, I would just like to see it used better by the powers that be.
Because they already pay more It's about making things equal. Its like making you pay £5 for a burger because you decided to wear a red jumper where as I only had to pay £4.60 for same burger because I'm wearing blue jumper. Both getting same product but ones paying less than their
Look at what I was responding too ffs I agree they should pay more. Just pointing out that is not actually equal service in return. Using "they choose be self employed" isn't an argument, employed choose to be employed!
So. Richard Gere's middle name is Tiffany. No wonder he is so messed up he sticks hamsters up his butt.
He's a gonna. Unless you are 16 or say 18. Going on loan is just a bullshit excuse by clubs to say don't want you no more, and normally to get pointless wages off books.
Tend to agree. He needed to play games because of injury but he's not really done at Burnley. I'd still have him back as backup; low wages, loves the club and very dependable I'd called upon.
He best not ****ing score today Be interesting to see his reaction if he did. Would you be a pro and happy you helped club you play for, or be gutted as club you love and want to play for again could have damaged their chances of top 4 finish and cl football.
He's too old to be a promising kid still. He's the next Election Share. (That was El Zhar before autocorrect)
