Depends how long you have been with a company. As far as I know newer contracts you have to work them, and the ones on older contracts have to be asked.
If you work for a company that normally has it off. I was talking from ones that are open. Older length contracts you get Bh off unless you choose to work it, from experience none work and have it off.

New £1 coin coming out in March, can still use the current ones alongside but only until October at which point will lose their legal tender status. Gonna be pain in ass if comes round to October and got **** load of them, have to run them to the bank to get them swapped over.
Why the change? Could understand if they were changing to switch to £1 notes as easier to store but these are going to be a dodecagon coin (thanks Google) All the vending machine holes, supermrket trolleys, car park slots etc etc seems a lot of hassle if they have to change all of that
Changing because so many £ coins are fake, about 15% apparently. The new ones are harder to copy and have a magic bit inside so fakes can be detected.
Going to be annoying is take a load of £1 to bank to change to new ones and they tell you half of them are fakes
