The club are talking new deal for klopp. 1. This should be positive thing. 2. Why now, barely anytime since he joined. Are we perceiving a threat from somewhere for him? 3. Klopp's stayed 7 years at last two clubs. He's not a in and out merchant.
Sakho should learn his fate today and Burnley have swapped fixtures around for us so we play away 2nd game to allow stadium to be sorted. Means we we start with 3 away games
If it's a long ban then we need another centre back, if not then Lovren Matip and Sakho is probably enough.

Wouldnt like to see him there too much. He did a job but he's right footed as well so alwas had to cut back in when attacking. If played at FB would rather be at RB but would he's a big kid, his long term is at CB and wouldn't want to risk injury and development by sticking him out at FB for too long.
I wonder if injuries to big lads like him are down to the amount of running required in the modern day full back role. I'd like to see him get plenty of game time but don't see him as ready for a centre back slot yet (cup games maybe) so if he's not in at full back he's not playing and I really think he could be a very good player for us.
Yup. Was always said about Kelly and Wisdom that they just seem too big to play that full back role up and down, especially if not used to it and always wonder if Kelly's injuries were partly caused by that. Said id few days ago, Europa would have been perfect for likes for Gomez and Brannagan to get lots of experience along with league cups etc.
I think kelly was over used to young personally. If you look at the work klopp does on building a guy up.. well imo kelly was to immature physically and paid for it.
