Morning dribs. Pubs gone to pot without you, no landlord or barman to sort things out!

    You been away?

Guiness is only really good in Ireland.
Ice cold is just plain wrong.

    1. Bang on
    2. Fair point but prefer it colder over here as it makes it taste better / smoother (that extra cold ****e they have on tap here though is clearly the scum off the top of a batch they wouldn't even piss in over in Dublin)

Probably an age thing, but as far as I'm concerned the only reason for making any beer cold is to mask the **** taste.
All of this "refreshing" malarkey is nonsense imo. I'm not van Damme and I don't need a bollock- freezing concoction to make me look 'ard (I'd need a body transplant for that, tbh :)).
I drink beer for one reason - a pleasant taste experience.

    Ok, two reasons.......

At least your air-con works to break. <ok>

Winter is just as bad. Heating doesn't work. 2 weeks ago I had my desk heater on struggling to get warm. It was like a switch...one minute it's chucking it down with snow, now I'm hot as a biscuit.

Old building near Liverpool street. We're not allowed to open windows ourselves...too dangerous. So admin girl has to do it for us...obviously the office full of engineers can't be trusted. <yikes>

No one is fit in this male dominated office environment. Except Lyssa from the 5th floor in payroll or something. Spoke to her in August at our company Summer Social drinks...she had a boyfriend. And still had a boyfriend at the xmas party. <ok>
