Clearly getting to the FA Cup final is just a sign of a team that has done crap in their other competitions and are #desperate for something to make the season worthwhile

 

I think there is a pattern of teams not putting any effort in in league and looking at cup and then not picking it up again

It does then back up the arguements of managers throwing the FA cup in early rounds to try and concentrate on league.

I think they just need to scrap the league Cup, play the FA cup only, but don't condense it into half a season, the half when everyone has more important things like titles/Europe/relegation to concentrate on

 

Realistically you are right if a European restructure happens.. there's no room for league cup where it is..

Could move to an early season or even preseason thing.

 

Oh and if europe restructures and there's no europa spot for league cup it dies imo anyway.
