As you're aware- I was being a smartarse. However, there's a serious point behind it. It's no good getting rid unless you've got an improvement lined up (and not just an alternative). I see too many fans treating the game like fantasy football or football manager, or whatever it's called - and asking why we don't just get whoever it is they think we should get. We have to realise that in the real world there are limits to who we can attract and afford. Get rid of everyone, replace them with whom? Despite their limitations, would we really be able to improve on Coutinho, Sturridge, Firmino, Sakho etc? Not to mention Flaninho.
