There's certainly not a lot going on over there, I tried bringing some interesting topics like "does cheese go with rice?" but nope not a thing.
Cheese with rice is a weird one. Something like a chilli it's nice melted but on other rice dishes probs not
This forum is a bag of ****e of late btw, either not working or taking fecking ages loading notifications, pages, whatever, more the norm than the exception
It's weird is never have cheese on chilli, but love it on spag Bol, even though they are essentially the same dish minus a few Beans and spice.
Rice, pasta, dough ... all white carbs and filler foods essentially, the latter two being flour and water based, so it is strange why cheese is used so much on pasta, pizza, breads etc ... guess it's down to rice being traditionally Asian and those (spicy, fragrant, more delicate) foods not being suited to cheese, and cheese not being that popular in their traditional food and dishes except for maybe paneer in Indian cooking, but normally that's separate from the rice. I know latterly cheese as like a luxury western export has gained popularity a bit
