Holiday. What's that. / 10 days off a year total. Sick/holiday/xmas etc all counts to the 10 days.... Actually 15 but I "bank" the max 5 days a year in case I ever get the sack. Companies arnt required to pay you redundancy money here but they are required to pay you for unused vacation. I'm allowed to carry 5 days over to the next year.
Coming our way too if these Neo-cons with their zero-hour contracts, no terms and conditions, and hatchet-faced harridans from HR departments with their ****ing 'values and behaviours' and KPI's are allowed to continue their infestation in our workplaces.
None, public holidays come out of my leave. If I take Xmas off that counts as a day off. Most places get 12, but since we stay open 365 days a year we don't get public holidays.
You need a new job 26 days leave + 8 bank holidays a year.... Plus I can "buy" additional leave if I wanted to
24 days + 8 B/H and any TOIL I accumulate. Only work a 34hr week too. I assume by buy you mean like TOIL (time off in lieu)
Nope, some teacher will rock up in a minute and remind you of their 65 days annual toss off - but of course they're working for most of that holiday period - honest.
