hahaha. I got banned years ago, after I set up a joke sock account, made 2 posts with it and got bubbled. At the time I'd already been banned from the Liverpool board. The mods said it was due to the frequency of complaints, and they couldn't be arsed with it, even though 90% of them were frivolous. A certain poster on here was one of them like...
It's an awful format. I used to post on 606 despite the format not because of it. When old 606 died I can't believe a successor forum decided to keep that awful format.
That's PJ's the daft ****, and he's completely wrong - as per. It's hilarious that they thought I had shed loads of alter egos on there, I didn't. The sock account was set up as a kopite to try and have a laugh on the Reds board, but I never even got going with it, as they spotted the IP.
Well, I was going to make a temp account. I've long since forgotten my username and email address from there. I probably would have been a little wummy but nothing too bad. Thing is even if I had completely pure intentions I would use my phone. I think the reason they have a much bigger problem with wums is the approach. They, like old 606, approach it with a sledge hammer. It becomes a fun challenge to try and circumvent the rules and see how much you can get away with. Here we embrace the wums until they become one of the boys and so instead of wummery we have banter. It's why we don't have a problem and they do. Now I'm tempted to create a wum account... Lol... See... Their approach is driving someone as clean and pure as me to want to wum.
You know what might be funny... ... A communal account for ja606. If we share a user and password there and take turns posting. Nothing too wummish. Nothing to get the account banned... But it might be amusing.
