Secret mission for all who read this. Pop over to the manc board and vote for Kenny to be next scum manager without leaving comment so they wonder wtf is going on. Please note I don't know if it's a public poll so this may not go well.
Nicely done, we need a few more votes, c'mon guys. Remember don't leave comments this is a stealth mission.
Looking good lets see if we can confuse the hell out of them. Get in and out quickly so your not spotted. Kenny on 4 just 2 behind Mourinho.
Luckily Shwan and the other mancs can't see now that they've voted, as in Shwans "who voted for Kenny." post.
Ok so it's now official, Arsenal have 15 4th place "trophies". The Gunners, without a trophy since 2005, are in Europe's top competition for the 15th consecutive year. "There are five trophies," the Arsenal manager told the club's shareholders. "The first is to win the Premiership, second is to win the Champions League, third is to qualify for the Champions League, fourth is to win the FA Cup, and fifth is to win the League Cup." Seriously, he's a total failure and clutching at straws, they aren't good enough to win 1, 2, 4 or 5 and hes had 15 straight attempts to win number 3. Arsenal fans a very gullible.
I think it is harsh to say Wenger's been a total failure, especially considering he trophies earlier in his Arsenal career including doubles and an unbeaten season. Even if you only consider the last six or seven years than you can't he is a total failure, most clubs (including ourselves at the minute) would love to qualify for the champions League season after season. But, he has fallen short when it comes to progressing to the next stage. If you expect to be wining trophies (which Arsenal fans should be) and you see as black and white as that then he has failed because there are only two outcomes, the other being success! However, football is not as clear cut as that, you have to remember that when he was winning things with the club, there wasn't a Chelsea or Man City to contend with, they were mainly competing with a ordinarily run (albeit, rishest too) Man Utd team, occasionally another side would pop up such as ourselves, Leeds or Newcastle, but no one with the mega billions we see nowadays. For Wenger to have kept the club in the top four under those circumstances has to be seen as an achievement in some capacity.
All good and fair points Dev but my point was the smoke and mirrors trick Wenger did at the Arsenal AGM to cover his failure in the silverware stakes, he counted his achievement of finishing in the top 4 as a 'trophy' and of course the history books will show it's not.
From the quote, it seems the point was aimed at shareholders so they'll be happy with that. CL means dosh and that's more important to them. I doubt the fans are so easily pleased.
