Hey let's take some comfort from The England game. At least it's now clear to but the mancs that Carrick and Cleverly are consistent midfielders - can't pass, can't tackle and have no constructive ideas.

A Leeds fans post on the Stoke board. "'One Jimmy Savile' 'Jimmy Savile's ****ing innocent' 'He's Jimmy Savile, he shags who he wants' 'Dave Jones is a *****phile' 'Murderers, murderers' (at SYP) All of those things were chanted last night in my presence, and I'm not ashamed of that fact. The lad who ran on the pitch and hit Kirkland, I think he will look back on that in years to come and feel immature and embarrassed, but it was still hugely overreacted to by Dave Jones, the media and (sadly) the football-supporting community. Idiot yes, but does he really deserve a lengthy prison sentence for a shove in the face of intermediate force? Just because cameras and thousands were around him, doesn't mean it's objectively worse than another player doing it during a corner, or than someone doing it on a Saturday night in town. People need to get a grip really. That's Leeds' away support, and I hope it never changes. Marching on together. I think the same about the proud and passionate supporters you have at Stoke. Good luck to 'em. Let's not be defeatists and make football the same as following an American sport where everyone waves foam hands and has friendly banter with the rival fans sat next to them. Leave that for the pub before the game; furious desire is what OUR sport is all about."
Rio's union plans based on a racist ideology?, the exclusion of all but black and ethnic minority players goes against what 'Kick It Out' is trying to achieve and separates players by skin colour and/or race. Rio Ferdinand is planning to revolutionise English football with the launch of a breakaway union to protect the interests of black footballers. Ferdinand, who refused to wear a Kick It Out T-shirt before Manchester United’s clash against Stoke on Saturday, has already joined other high-profile black players in overseeing the first draft of a constitution. The United defender and his colleagues want to tackle discrimination in all forms and will hold a series of meetings in London over the next few weeks. please log in to view this image All smiles: Rio Ferdinand (left) is believed to have reconciled his differences with Sir Alex Ferguson The union — which has a working name of The Federation of Black Players but will be open to players from all ethnic backgrounds who share a desire to combat racism in English football — will be self-funded by professionals at every level. The union’s mission statement is expected to honour the achievements of black footballers and promote unity within the sport at every level, from players to spectators. The idea, which has been conceived by Ferdinand, is already gathering momentum among black players and has received widespread support. It will be the first of its kind in this country, but there is a long-established Black Baseball Players Association in the United States. Ferdinand wants to protect the interests of the current generation of black players and is eager, for instance, to defend the rights of the young players caught up in last week’s traumatic events that marred the England Under 21 game in Serbia. Although every professional player is entitled to PFA representation, the new union is unlikely to be affiliated with the official body. That does, however, remain up for discussion, with meetings with the PFA still planned. Union ethos is based on equal rights for all but not in Rio's book.
Hmmm.. I understand their frustration if they think not enough is being done, but an organization that rules out white players is, in itself, discriminatory.
I'd like rio and any other black footballer to point out exactly when they've been discriminated against, by who and when, because I don't believe that all of the people thinking of joining 'Rio's Racist group' have actually been racially abused or have even seen a problem in the modern game. It's causing a fuss for the sake of it, Rio wants the publicity and he's getting it... There's much more discrimination against Asian players in my opinion.
This vile scheming disgusting lying bastard should not be allowed to retire on a huge pension paid for by the people of Merseyside(including many of the families of the 96)before he faces justice for his disgraceful actions. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/2012...sborough-disaster-mps-told-100252-32084971/3/ Please sign the petition below. http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/39775 Thank you.
