It's a sad indictment of our culture that the media and a lot of people view these vessels as relevant. People will argue that they're just celebs but until the queen/monarch is removed from all the doings and procedures of democracy and politics and no longer remains a 'head of state' or dignitary we're living in a retroactive kind of society. The Royal family should all be removed and we should elect a President in their place to greet dignitaries, carry out official visits and mark national events and such, as modern countries do.
 
Judge Dredd just starting on channel 4, I thought it was decent enough. Only remade in 2012 though so made its way quick to free tv
