Went to tesco.. Got present and to top it all off, bumped into big Sami!!

Asked if he fancied a job coaching our defence.. He just laughed <laugh>

Quality that pal

I went into town and it was surprisingly quiet really, went to Sainsbury's after and that was the same.

Was in Sainsbos an hour before it closed and was the same. Still didn't have any feckin chestnuts though! Motorway was pretty empty late afternoon/evening and all. Maybe that episode of The Real Ghostbusters cartoon, where they go back in time and catch the ghosts of christmas past, present and future so they can't haunt Scrooge and he makes the whole world hate christmas forever (via a bestselling book) actually came true <yikes><confused>

Couldn't find anything either so I just bought her a bunch of flowers and a jumper, already bought her a coat too. I'll let her pick something out in the January sales too.

So you were going to buy the Mrs (nm) some chestnuts for Xmas but as didn't have any you got her some flowers? <laugh>

Got the presents and most of the food yesterday, was just getting all the alkymohol and a few bits and pieces, snacks, sellotape and that festive classic blu-tac!

Think you'll find I didn't highlight chestnuts <doh>

And the reality is, I had no idea what to get. I did have something in mind but was too late when I eventually got round to ordering it. I've banked that idea for her birthday in April :)

I find it hard now, never used to but now you have to think of ones from the kids as well, hard enough with just 1 child let alone 3!
