Least it still works but there is a big bloody hole where I can see the electronics lol

Dropped out my coast pocket as I swapping my boss back to trainers at footy this morning.

Just needs a new screen but having watched how to do it on YouTube, I don't fancy doing it

One of those shops that do this kind of thing should be able to sort it for you though. You know these places that repair Ipads and such

 

I can get a new screen for around £4-£5 so hoping it won't be much more to have it mended

I've had a mobile for about fifteen years now and this is the first time I've damaged one. I think I'm up in the 'opt out of insurance' stakes

Is that how much it cost you for the phone or to mend? If its that's much to mend then I shall be purchasing a new phone

Realised after posting the above comment that I was offered free insurance when I signed up for this current contract so need to contact Virgin to find out.

 

That was the repair. It wasn't just the screen, it was the LED display as well

 

s**t! Well, as I said, I won't be paying that. If I can't argue the insurance thing then I'll be getting a new phone. Stil got my last phone (Samsung S+) knocking about at home so I could just revert back to that one. Only signed up to a two contract in February though

My phone / touch screen etc still works so don't think the LCD is damaged there is a big hole where I can see through to the electronics part though

 

I'm back!

Survived the arctic 10C nighttime low temps (actually wasn't as cold as I thought it would be... quite comfortable actually)

Lots of wildlife. Baby deer. Baby snapping turtles. .. and a random overly affectionate tabby cat it the middle of the woods... wildlife was savage this time.

 

Take your time acclimatising, it takes ages for milk to thaw out properly

 

It was the display that was the expensive bit. Not sure what the 'hole' will do to the price

 

If its more than £50 then I'll get a new phone

PS...I would take a picture to show you but I kind of need the phone for taking said picture
