Ask him what he thinks of rumours Forlan is coming back to Utd. That'll cheer him up.

Just done football predictor on BBC and got us taking 5th place 2 points above Spurs and 12 goal difference above. That's if we win all of our remaining games.

    **** CHAMPIONSHIP MANAGER!!!!

I took the Aston Villa job after their manager buggered off to Chelsea and they were top of the championship - THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Admittedly I was a gamble being that I was the manager at Boston Utd but I had just won League 2, the LDV vans trophy and was sniffing around the play offs of league 1 but still

SEASON 1 - I win the Championship (Ijoined halfway through the season but we remained unbeaten)

SEASON 2 - I finish second in the PL but win the league cup

SEASON 3 - PL Winners, FA Cup Winners, CL Semi Finals

SEASON 4 - PL Winners, FA Cup Winners, League Cup Winners, CL Quarter Finals

SEASON 5 - PL Runners up, FA Cup Winners, League Cup Winners, CL Quarter final

I had one of the best squads on the game (I'm playing champ 01-02 and currently in the year 2007) boasting Rooney, Gerrard, Barry, Zidane and thats not mentioning the classy 17/18 year olds I have + £200m in the bank

AND THEY SACKED ME FOR NOT WINNING THE LEAGUE BY 2 POINTS!!!!... 2 BLOODY POINTS!!!!!

I spent ages on that game - GRRR

I'm going to play need for speed

    Welcome to Wenger's world, Bozz.

Did your dad loan you any of those youngsters? Recalling them would teach Villa a lesson.

Anyway, I've been back on my Megadrive emulator recently. Retro rocks.

    LOL, no.

but I signed a 15 year old german sensation who played in my first team for 3 years (making over 120 apps) and then he got homesick & went AWOL before Rostock signed him as his contract became unprotected for £3m

It was completley random, he went AWOL for 2 months after the new year and then was shocked to find himself no longer a 1st team regular!!

I retired from that game last night, i've now downloaded a european superleague database hack which i'll start later

A German going AWOL? Is it the 1941/42 season?

So I'm no monarchist but that wedding was in the background as I sat with morning coffee and the onlines and I'm sure I heard the "You're not singing anymore" tune when they were in the abbey. Is that cos he supports Villa?

**** Me! Anybody see the Hearts fan punching Neil Lennon tonight! I always thought the SPL was even more boring than the Irish premier league but this might make it a bit more interesting!

In all honesty though, what an idiot! That's the last football match he'll be going to for a while <laugh>

I think reality tv fame awaits Lennon, imagine just following him around Glasgow with a camera!

I'm more worried for Lennon's life. How long before somebody actually kills him? What will that do to the SPL, or football in general? It could be seen as the final straw regarding Sectarian tolerance.

It's a disgrace. Nobody in football should get death threats. People who send death threats to Neil Lennon or anybody else in football are a ****ing disgrace to football.

I just don't get it to be honest??? He's a football manager? Why should his life be under threat because of a game?

I heard someone on tv yesterday saying imagine if Ferguson, Ancelloti or Wenger had to work under such conditions and that it just wouldn't happen. Not only does he have 24 hour security but he'll probably need to bring it with him to the bench from now on

A little change of tune from the attack on Lennon, how about we raise our glasses to Kenny getting the job on a permanent basis! I will drink to that!

I don't think anybody can really understand any of this. Football is a game. Lots of people enjoy playing, watching and debating football. We all love the beautiful game. But 99.9% of fans would never even contemplate doing something like that. Death threats and sending bombs and bullets to anybody is too far. People who do things like these are not football fans. They put a bad name onto the millions of football fans who are well behaved. They are a ****ing disgrace. It's as simple as that.
