Why thank you, everybody! I've missed the forum, still had kept up slightly with it, but didn't want to screw up my chance to join the Air Force... Now, with Siggurdsen (sp?), it's good to see our new coach has players that would turn down other deals just to play under him, even if we don't end up getting him. Good sign, players want to play for him. Maybe our team will play with heart and win more now...

I used to be in the RAF, had a great time.

I think I remember but a lot of drinking has happened since. We could possibly have the exact same conversation again and neither of us would know.
 
So Tottenham snapped up AVB.

Can't help but think if we start to sign Sinclair types while Tottenham sign Moutinho types, that we might have missed the boat with AVB :(

I love Brendan's philosophy and how we are going to play but to be able to attract those players, I hope he can do it.

We'll be ok with Brendan, I would have been happy with AVB at the time but we've made our choice, lets just see how in pans out.
 
I hope so. I hope his philosophy and our game is also going to be an attraction.

I hope we sign a ramirez soon, that would def ease a lot of the , where's our budget, who can we get, do FSG do this, etc.

As you say we shall see, hopefully no last minute surprises ( looking at you Pepe). <laugh>
