Easier to keep quiet and move on than raise anything. Their mods are looking into it so hopefully something'll be done.
Day one (today) of new fence... Dog nearly escape but got stuck! Day two (tomorrow) plans... block the gap! ****ing dog
It's under the gate. The gate is on a sloped area meaning there is a gap. I didn't think he would get under which he can't, bit he can get his head under and managed to get stuck. Made a right noise because he was scared too.
Well lessoned learned, he won't be doing it again so no need to get it fixed Or is he not very intelligent and will keep doing it over n over lol
He tried again immediately after #persistent He is too intelligent, he finds ways and means of escaping hence me passing £655 for a new fence to stop him
I'm genuinely not sure what you mean by that. If you mean I shouldn't have said anything then I don't agree, if you see this hate stuff you need to nip it in the bud. I've just been back on the saints board to thank the mods and told them to delete all my comments so the thread makes sense and isn't completely ruined and derailed. Thank you for stepping up as well
No mate not at all. I meant it's easier for their posters to keep quiet than do anything about it Much like how you see people get attacked in the streets and people walking by, or filming it on their smartphones. People find it easier to keep quiet. Sorry, didn't make it very clear what I meant
I edited after I saw your edit. He's a Jack Russell x Yorkshire Terrier. He managed to claim the last fence like a monkey, he's figured out how to open the fridge and freezer despite having locks on and he managed to escape a room despite being behind a stair gate and closed door (which are about 3 inches apart)
Oh I see where you're coming from. Yes it's called bystander apathy - but common sense should tell you whether to get involved or not depending on the incident.
We'll see. Can't say I've seen him on our board before but guess one to keep an eye on what with the game on Sunday as well.
It's up but I didn't do it because needed the right tools to go into concrete. Will be ringing him to come back tomorrow as I'm not happy with a couple of bits
We have a big garden which is dog proof in that our dog can't escape - but about a year ago, just as it was getting dark one evening, a large shaggy dog [bit like Dulux dog] appeared in our garden. I had no idea where it had come from and didn't know what to do. I thought if I leave it then it will get out the way it got in. Well it wandered around for about 10 minutes [which is ages when you're worried] then started crying. I thought if I go out to it [by this time it was dark and I couldn't even see] and get hold of it, what then. I could put our dog's lead on it but where would I start to try and find it's owner - go door to door??? Anyway after about half an hour the crying stopped and I can only presume it got out the way it came in because it wasn't there when we cautiously let our dog out. There's no gaps in our fences or hedges - a mystery to this day.
