I think you'll find that it cost less than you think to get rid of Hodgson. Comparatively it probably cost more to get rid of Purslow!
Purslow was mentioned in what I read.

I read somewhere it was 8. something million to pay him and 1 or two other staff members off.
The only inaccracy in that statement is the use of the word 'forced'. There was no need to write the almost £50 million off - it was beneficial to do so!

Sorry fellas...... I......I.......... I watched the game! ( Runs quickly away)
too little too late for me, can't start to play after going 2-0 down. Ah well, bring on the summer, next year and hopefully more to cheer about.
don't worry about it bluff, at least your optomistic about things. there's a load of suicidal folks on here atm.
All your own work, Page?
No saint, apparently it(somehow)appeared on his twitter page and was soon after removed.
It looks genuine, but just a prank gone wrong probably.
Got to be a photoshop job. Can't be bothered to download it and look for the join.
Been to a friend's for dinner and managed to make a couple of bottles of shiraz disappear so I'm not sure what day it is.

Solved saint, hes a Pepe Reina fan and the picture was taken in march.

It was.
Haven't contributed too much in the last few days, I find it sad that there's so much antagonism between our own fans.
We're all going to have our own opinions about what's wrong and how we deal with it, but I think all the LFC posters on here are united by their passion for the club, and I hate to see all these "plastic" accusations and "if you think this, you don't know football" jibes being bandied about.
We all love the club and want it to do well, and we should all remember that.
Agreed, but just as a few of our posters make it plain they want Kenny out those of us that dont and want to give him next season are entitled to our opinion, and it just turns into a **** throwing competition.
Im sticking to my opinion but i realise that if he stays i've had no bearing on it and if he walks or gets sacked they've had no bearing in it.
FSG will be the ones that decide(more than likely)so all this in fighting is futile.
Exactly, mate.
We all have our opinions, but we're not the ones who make the decisions. Imo, Kenny made some changes, brought in players, which haven't worked out, despite it being good in theory. He now needs to be given the opportunity to learn from that and put it right. Nothing can be done at this stage- we have to wait to see what happens in the summer. Calling for him to leave now is premature, I think, but others are of a different opinion, and I understand that.
This is a forum for debate and it would be a bit crap if we were all in agreement all the time, I just think it's a problem with these places that people don't seem to be able to disagree without slagging each other off.
A public vote of confidence by the board after the Chelsea game would go a long way to easing the pressure and a chance for all of us to unite and rally round.
