He's on his way to see you. He's paddling across the Atlantic in a wheelie bin- so he might be some time.
Looks like Charlie Adam out for the rest of the season. http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk...t-for-season-with-knee-injury-99623-30641677/ The rest might do us good.
Never wish an injury on anyone and I wish Adam all the best in his recovery. But, as you said, maybe this could be a good thing for the rest of our season?
Six Liverpool fans are going to run the 76 miles from Hillsborough to Anfield in three days with the aim of raising funds for both Hillsborough groups – the Hillsborough Justice Campaign and the Hillsborough Families Support Group. This is the first time that both Hillsborough groups have supported the same cause. The Run is also supported by a host of Liverpool players past and present, including Jamie Carragher and Didi Hamman, as well as MPs Steve Rotheram and Andy Burnham. Sheffield Wednesday are permitting the Run to start on the pitch in front of the Leppings Land End where 96 Liverpool fans perished on that fateful day in April 1989 and Liverpool FC are allowing the Run to end on the field at Anfield with a half time introduction at their next home game. It is certain to be an emotional start at Hillsborough for all the runners but especially Earle Jackson who was at Hillsborough 23 years ago. “It will definitely be a strange feeling at ten in the morning compared to how I remember it,” says Jackson, referring to the start of the Run on April 12. “I really appreciate Sheffield Wednesday opening the stadium for us and it will underline why we are doing this run.” Over the course of three days, with stops in Manchester, Hyde and Widnes, the team will cover essentially three marathons in three days. The brainchild of Dom Williams, who is leading his team of six runners and nine in the support team, this is the first time this run has actually been done in the 23 years since the tragedy. Hillsborough will open to the press at 9.00am on Wednesday April 12th for interviews as well as video and photo opportunities, with the run starting at 10.00am. The team will head up Middlewood Road off towards the Underbank and Midhope Reservoirs, before crossing the Peak District National Park to Manchester Hyde. Titi Camara Q&A on LFC.TV. http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/titi-s-twitter-q-and-a I used to like Titi's attitude when he played for us,and its good to see him talk fondly about his memories of playing for us. I remember when another of our former players Ian St John used to be a co-commentator on Radio City during Titi's time with us,and at the time he wasn't impressed with the amount of goals to chances Titi was putting away and used to give him stick bigtime but in one particular match St John put his foot in his mouth with his reaction to Titi scoring a goal at the Anny Rd End. Camara scored the goal and ran to our supporters and fell to his knees openly crying and openly praying,St John made a comment on air along the lines of. "Bloody hell son we all know you haven't scored a lot of goals recently, but theres no need for prayers and tears" It came out after the match that Titi's father had died a couple of hours before the game and the emotion and grief hit the lad when he scored. His tears were for his father and he prayed for his father as the crowd celebrated the goal. Ian St John had no knowledge of his father dying and apologised profoundly to Camara afterwards.
Anyone remember this? http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=d98_1235137925 Wonder how he got on with his wife in the aftermath or if hes now married to his pink rampant rabbit!
Pictures of Lucas treating fans from his home: http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/lucas-tweets-lfc-fans Am I the only one that finds it amusing that he has two bottle of Carlsberg MOTM champagne on the window ledge and two of his own shirts framed...?
Posted a thread on the guys doing the run a while back, we should maybe sticky a thread until it's done. I'll see if I can find it. Couldn't find it so I've copied PMK's post and asked for a sticky.
