I've said my piece on Gerrard as a captain today, that I believe he's too emotional and it was his downfall....but seriously, do you want to be that poor sod tonight? His good has always outweighed the bad..he's what we want in a player but that's a hard thing to do, get up tomorrow, and convince them players we go again... It would actually have more meaning now.
He'll be gutted same as we all are but what an incredible season Hopefully our friendly neighbours do us a favour and we beat Palace!
Well like the rest of you lads I'm gutted after yesterday, at the beginning of the season our aim was a top 4 finish and CL football next season, we accomplished that ambition in style with the kind of football others can only dream of. A minimum requirement to keep our very slim chance of the title alive is two wins in our final two games and to bang in as many goals as possible and for City to slip up especially at Goodison. Bad defending and dodgy refs have cost us a few points this season and let's hope we've learned from this season and keep progressing under Brendan's management. YNWA.
****ing hell What the **** was that? Absolutely gutted. It's still not properly sunk in, but I reckon that's that. The BS have fallen apart at exactly the wrong time for us, so we can't expect them to turn citeh over. And that's even if we win our last two. I ****ing loathe Mourihno with a passion.
Everton still battling for EL place with a slim chance of top 4 if Arsenal cave in, come on you burloos!
There is a ****ing whoring thread (about thirteen of them!) for this bullshit! Seriously though, lets keep it out the pub. I suspect a few of us will be using this thread as a escape from the grumpy ****ers about since the loss
I left the pub fairly soon after the game. Went home, took the dog for a walk, kids to the park and then went for some dinner
I watched it at Cockney Roger's. Should have seen the writing on the wall - he had a tenner on us to win 2 - 1 I went to the pub later on, in order to receive flak from anyone who wanted to dish it out #nevershirktheflak
I was gutted after the game, genuinely gutted. I wanted to kick the **** out of someone in the pub because they was doing the Studge dance in celebration too, I never get like that. However, reality kicked in. We've had a superb season and its still not over with two games to go. Losing it on goal difference will hurt but it will also be a great season that we'll all remember considering the expectations in August. PS...I said that **** up by Mannone giving Man city the equaliser against Sunderland could prove costly. Losing wouldn't have mattered had they not got the draw.
This The other thing that gets me though is the aftermath and all the headlines on 'brilliant' Jose and Chelsea. It was a big game though so its to be expected. But I'd have took this position at the beginning of the season, definitely! How **** is Aspas Cant wait until the transfer window and hopefully this time BR will land some of his targets! I left the pub and was looking for a cat to kick #neverkickyourown
