Blooming horrible. Years ago this would have been a blessing. But with today's medical breakthroughs a horrendous condition like this could possibly be treated and the child could have grown up and had a healthy life. Heartbreaking thing to hear, thoughts are with your Mrs (not wife) and her family mate.

 

Well all you can do is be there for her obv when it does hit her

Very, very sad, mate. Anyone with kids, and even any right-minded person would be moved by that. It won't have sunk in yet, by the way.

 

Thats it mate. I'm not that close to her family TBH so I wouldn't say the baby was a relative of mine despite her being the mrs' (not married) neice. However, the fact thats its a baby will make it hard for me.

I have unfortunately, Mrs (is my wife) friends son was killed on a farm by a tractor that his grandad was operating

 

****ing hell. That's a shocker as well. You'd never get over that.

 

We see the parents quite regular and they have had 2 sons since but my wife reckons they've never been the same (which is obv understandable)

I feel for the grandad as well, he didnt get done for it

I actually stopped to look at his grave on Sat when I went for a bike ride

I wasnt dead pissed off with yesterdays game for some reason

We played well but was wasteful, shame they'll be no cup final days this season though

 

I expected us to lose and we did, but we played extremely well but for our finishing. Sturridge could have had a hat-trick on another day.

The fact that we won the league game but lost the cup match suits me, I'd have chosen that way beforehand.

 

You'd usually put your house on him scoring from those positions, he's a great finisher but a bad day would happen sooner or later

I actually thought we'd win, thought them attacking us would work in our favour for the counter

I'd have took the league win as well but still a shame we cant win another pot

Oh well, we'll just have to make do with the league trophy

 

Didn't see game. Parents visiting town. Continues the weird hex of us losing when I don't watch.

Wasn't surprised we lost... half expected it... but share sentiments... don't care that much as we won league fixture.

One less distraction. Must get 4th at all costs this season. Fight for cups again once we've established ourselves as top 4 again.

 

If I'd been given the alternatives, I'd have defo chosen 3 points. However, that's another occasion when we deserved the result and didn't get it
