Anyone keeping track of the Amanda Knox trial? So after the new guilty verdict in the Florence court the decision has to go to the Court of Cassation where Knox and Sollecito can appeal again (this is the court that acquitted them last year). If that court finds them guilty then Italy might seek extradition but Knox/the US can challenge this. So shouldn't she be in a prison again right now or has the US just decided that because she's an American citizen that she can't possibly have committed a serious crime in Italy? Crazy stuff and Italy's legal system seems shambolic.
