If they're started by one of us, it's probably because people are still angry over the whole thing, but we need to put it behind us- unless of course, there are new developments. If the thread is started by a troll, I think we should just close it. A dedicated thread's not a bad idea, but I doubt trolls and wums would stick to it.
I've been doing this a lot anyway, merging anything that is similar into one of the other threads. I don't want to label one thread as it will attract more attention and will get closed. Good idea though I'll see how it goes.
As a manc who is often on your board may I be brave enough to make a suggestion ? ( I Will anyway ) I would never tell Liverpool supporters what to post on your own board as it's not my place. However alot of the regular & better posters are getting pissed of with wums / arguments etc. When you look at some of the threads they are set up my Liverpool posters banging on about the same things ( SAF etc ) which is basically inviting United fans to defend their club and throw **** back at Liverpool. Once these posts slagging United off stop appearing ever hour or so I suspect most of the wuming response will also stop. Keep up the good work anyway Luv
Afternoon Eric. I agree with what you say up to a point - I haven't looked at any of the recent "Fergie Is Satan" posts because I can't be bothered getting involved in all of that business yet again. I do think however, that if said posts are on our board only that's a bit different than wums coming and starting threads on our board specifically to cause trouble. We're all feeling a bit got at at the moment, and so some bitching about Fergie is bound to happen. As I've said before, I personally don't believe in the Fergie Association theory- I think he is a just consummate manipulator of the media. I do think being lectured on morality by him (not to mention the press!) is a bit bloody rich though. He's a great football manager, but paragon of virtue I think not.
I'm trying not to get involved in the moral side as I know Uniteds next **** up is probably only around the corner Plus both sides can sling mud as we all have unpleasant episodes in our past. I just don't see the point as no side is ever going to win
Thought I come over to have a half decent conversation about football but I see this site is just about Suarez too. Guess there is no 'moving on' being done anywhere!
I imagine there is no escaping it at the moment. Things will settle down soon and this place will be back to normal. Normal is probably not a good choice of words though.

Obviously Liverpool, Suarez and Kenny have come in for a lot of stick, Barnes too after his comments on TalkSport (may have been Five Live?) the other night. Still love the SW layout much more than any other site but it just doesn't have the following.
The layout is'nt everything though tbf. Plus SW is to much MUFC orientated for me. I think JB's interview was brill,here was a black player that himself had been racially abused during his career giving n hnet well balanced opinion of Suarezgate.
Couldn't agree more but obviously he is getting condemned by non-Liverpool fans who beleive he is being biased and protecting the club which is clearly ludicrious! He actually had ago at Liverpool for not doing anything when he was a player, effectively just accepting it as normal behaviour.
Its easy to see why lemmings follow eachother over the cliff's edge to their doom when you see the same reaction to JB's opinon of racism and Suarezgate by all and sundry
I don't think it is quite as cut and dry as them and us but obviosuly some are just sheep. For me, racism being highlighted to such an extent raises the issues further and, in a way, is a racist act within itself. To me, the colour of someones skin is no different to the colour of someones hair, the difference in weight or height, etc, they are all characteristics. Each one is offensive if used in the correct (or rather wrong) way. So why highlight one more than the other? And this is what I think Barnsey was getting at with his ignorance comment, but, of course, I may be wrong.

Odd that the villa fans still on SW, think thats where they all went after old 606, would be good for fans to populate club boards here as a few clubs, including the bitters (!) don't have a single poster.
There are a lot of Villa fans from 606 on there, think thats were they nested. There may even be more Villa than Man Utd fans on there!
ok, not sure why really the 606 community went so many different ways but i suppose guys saw a ready means of making cash and made so many sites. I've not gone on 606v1 at all, ja606 is fairly dead really and this one started first so is more populated i think. anyway, i didn't notice the earlier conversation recruitment is the main issue everyone had and no body solved. you have got to link up with a paper, tv, radio channel or something to get a link to your forum to attract new blood but ebing forums no regualr company wants to know cos the law requires them to then control content.
