Its not very big and its growth is a bit slow so having to go weekly for monitoring (make sure everything is ok) and fortnightly for scans (they can only measure growth every fortnight). Its not due until 18 Feb but the mrs as opted for a section which is booked for 11 Feb. If the growth raises concerns then it will be delivered prematurely. We're both happier this week as its passed the 35wk mark which vastly improves the odds of it being a perfectly healthy child Not really got any names. We don't know whether its a boy or girl so have to come up with names for both and we can't agree I want a girl and if that's the case I like Lyla. If its a boy I like Stanley or Freddie (late Grandads name was Frederick)
Well I hope it's all healthy, I'm sure it will be And on the names, my middle name is Stanley, I never met my grandads but I was named after them. (Middle names that is, Kenneth and Stanley)
Been popping on today and noticed been dead on here! My prediction thread will be up tomorrow which will get the board going again By the Gerrez, Igor would be a good name Or Luis for a boy, Louis for a girl
don't believe those f'rs... my first was meant to be like 10 pounds+ and came out... late... at just 7 pounds barely.
Oh, trust me, I don't Already got two so I know exactly what they're like. Doesn't stop you hoping they're wrong though.
both my girls were like 10lb babies which i thought was quite big until i spoke to a taxi driver and he said his old dear had all 14lb ****ers, ouch!
World record is something like 27lbs Both mine were 7lb 4oz and I was 5lb 11oz, hoping its somewhere inbetween.
It's all in the head size... if the f'rs fat and long it can be just like a 7lber with a fat head. I was 14lbs when born...
I agree. The head is the main bit and is what causes the damage to the mother. However, it must make a different when comparing a 6lb baby to a 12lb baby
They say girls are generally smaller than boys so you could have a little Lyla waiting to meet you all in February - nice name btw. I'd go with something original for a boy as well - there's going to be classes full of George's and Harry's in a few years time.
In all seriousness Ive not been on in day as busy at work which will be for forseeable In the eve I tried to come on lastnight on personal laptop and the ****ing ads appeared again, thought I'd sorted it! Problem is, they appear here first and then appear on other sites. If I dont come on here they dont appear on the other sites
Naming a child is a very personal thing. I personally would avoid 'trend' names, be different but not Apple or Pilot Inspektor type different.
