I wondered what the strange coloured lights were that have appeared over the last couple of days through my walls - now I know

Everyone I've told about my 'windy' neighbour has had a great laugh - at my expense.( I really don't mind as I feel sorry for her ). I told you all at the end of the season that I would try to entertain you until 3rd August.
Now another neighbour thinks it's still winter
There I was polishing my car when the neighbour on my other side ( thankfully totally detached from me ) came up for a chat and said that she was so cold last night that she had to turn on her central heating !
I told her it was best if I made no comment on this revelation as the subject was a little uncomfortable and far too close to home. She said that she could guess what I meant.

edit - should I start to be worried - that two of my neighbours can read my mind !

<laugh><laugh> alwaysright - you might want to go over your precise conversations of words again, because so far we have...

    Cold unattached neighbour

    Needed warming up

A little uncomfortable and to close to home <doh>

She knows what you mean <whistle>

    Love is the air :emoticon-0111-blush

ok I've twisted the words a little.

I'm getting enough ridicule without the need for you to twist any word - but thank you for your concern.

I've got another gem from my 'windy' neighbour that will test the strength of those incontinent pants of yours -
but I can't give you too much in one go.

It is 'wind' related - but with a different twist !

I am not anti-royal - even if it seems that I am anti everything else !

I just thought that this was not good timing - coming on the day that the chancellor announced further cuts. Public sector pay rises are to be capped at 1% .... so 5% seems to be quite generous. I appreciate that this is coming from profits from the estate - but that is no different to profits from any other organisation where pay rises are barely 2%.
Automatic progression rises are to be abolished - so does that mean that, if Charles succeeds to the throne he wont get a pay rise ?
Not exactly a case of ' all in it together '

I can see what you've been saying - I can see that you are trying to wind me up- not a chance.
I can laugh at myself, especially with the ridicule I've had about my neighbour. Your efforts are very tame - you need a few lessons - maybe on our next away trip ( if I ever let you back in my car again )

And I expect that's what he said each time he got caught by the police.
This man has been done for speeding, going through red traffic lights and using his mobile phone whilst driving - yet still thinks that he can tell the country what to do ! I wonder what he's like at roundabouts ?

brb if you are going to criticise BSG you need to understand that he is likely to be pedantic ( fair comment ! ) and tell you that Slander is oral defamation. The more appropriate word you should have chosen is Libel.

    talking about kids programs

whilst I was at school ( a few years ago ), my younger (pre-schoolage) brother would be at home. When I returned home he would be watching Play School on television. During this program there would be a short film clip which would be viewed through one of 3 windows [ Square,Round,Arched ], behind the presenter. My brother & I would try to guess the correct window. My devious brother got it right every time !
One day I was home watching television in the mid morning - when lo & behold Play School was being screened - at what I thought was the wrong ( much earlier ) time.
I then checked the TV listing in the paper to discover that this bloody program was repeated when kids come home from school.

2 minutes 54 seconds into this clip - which by coincidence touches on one of my other favourite subjects

still, I got my own back at his wedding ( post No.194 in this thread )
