They're not all like Reeves & Starmer ...... Black hole - what black hole ?........ or should I say 'Democracy, what democracy '? John Trinkett is a Labour MP ( Normanton & Hemsworth ).... He was the only Labour MP who had the balls to vote against Labour in the recent vote regarding the Winter Fuel Allowance..... Starmer had said he would suspend any Labour MP who dared to excercise their democratic right to express the 'will' of constituents.... Democracy, what democracy ? - that sounds more like Dictatorship. This year (alone), Starmer has 'declared' receipt of free gifts valued over £100,000..... on top of his salary (£160,000), on top of his expenses (circa £25,000) - and yet pensioners on £218 have too much to qualify for a few crumbs of help to keep warm....... makes you want to renounce your British status. I wonder what Reeves & Starmer will ask Santa this year - perhaps the pensioner £10 Christmas bonus ( frozen for over 50 years ) - or the extra 25pence per week to the over 80 I shall be out of the country in a couple of weeks** - and won't be back until November - thus missing the Budget...... will I want to come back ? - (( perhaps in a rubber boat - but the Atlantic is a big ocean to cross on a lie-low )) ** don't worry - I will still be watching (live) all the Gills matches. Thank you, Mr. Trinkett - and shame on the rest of the sheep in the Labour Party - and further shame on the 5 Conservative MPs who 'abstained' in the vote (( worse than the Labour MPs who obeyed Stalin - sorry -I meant Starmer ))
I'm almost speechless - I simply cannot find a way of properly expressing how disgusted I feel - at the huge contempt this piece of *hit has for tax-payers in this country.......... not just the pensioners. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...staffer-burnish-image-sleaze-controversy.html
Taxed to death ! Tomorrow is 1st October.... and will see the Energy Price Cap increase by 10% ((( and it's going up another 3 or 4% on 1st January. ))) I've been reading that, in the Budget on 30th October, the Chancellor is likely to increase the energy windfall tax to 38% ( from 35% )....Good , I hear you say - but - just stop and think about that for a moment...... The tax that will be imposed is our money - your money - my money -- which I have paid through the ridiculously unnecessary high tariffs - especially the obscene daily standing charges - these are morally wrong....... ....... not only will pensioners not have their Winter Fuel Allowance - but their bills will rocket from tomorrow, - even if they are too afraid to turn on their heating !..... The daily standing charges do absolutely no favour to 'low' users of energy - where they probably eclipse the cost of 'actual' consumption....... meanwhile the hypocrites in Westminster are as warm as toast.
Cash is King – but – just NOT in Walmart ! Just back from 3 weeks in Florida ( family’s 5th time ) …. I thought I’d share a couple of things. Many people will say that Disney is overpriced and the queues at rides make it a waste of time and money…. I can understand those sentiments – but – those who’ve been will know that Disney definitely know how to do entertainment…. … my suggestion will be to dig deep and pay for ‘ fast passes. ‘ – they really do make a massive difference.. In the grand scheme of things, the extra expense makes sense! Of course, the decision to make a trip to Mickey Mouse will be your prerogative – but – personally, I have the money and made my choice (( before Rachel Thieves takes it. )) Always take an ACTUAL credit card A couple of days into our trip, my family went to Walmart… Like a lot of you I had my credit card & debit card in a ‘virtual wallet.’… At the checkout I took out my phone to make payment – but was promptly told that Walmart didn’t accept contactless payments .WHAT ? – a global company that doesn’t do ‘tap’ payments !... I was visibly shocked – and thankful that I had (( at the last minute, before leaving the villa )), decided to also take my ‘physical’ cards – and duly completed the purchase with chip-&-pin. Then I was given my next surprise… My older granddaughter presented a small item – and a handful of US Dollars for payment - which required a small amount of ‘change.’.. The cashier looked at the cash being offered – as if she had never seen real money before !..She looked a little annoyed – but- this turned to a lot annoyed when she opened the till drawer – it was EMPTY – NO ‘ float ‘ change. … Cashier then left her till ( without any pleasantries for us ) – to get some ‘change.’ Then my other granddaughter replicated her sister – and again needed change. The cashier was probably worried that there may be insufficient change for the little girl and asked ‘’ Haven’t you got a card.’’ (( this granddaughter is under 5 years - I’m sure her credit rating wouldn’t qualify for credit cards !! ))………. So – please remember – Walmart don’t do contactless – they don’t like cash – and don’t have ‘change’….……. It made it less encouraging to spend my money in the store -- -- and --- My bank made it even more difficult for me to spend ( cash or otherwise! ) By the end of week 2 into our trip, I had made several purchases – using both physical card and contactless methods of payment… After an evening meal, I attempted to ’tap’ to pay – declined… 2nd attempt – declined !! – So I used my ’physical’ card - accepted……..Then I got a text from my bank to tell me that they had blocked my credit card – citing ‘unusual’ transactions – and inviting me to phone XXXXXXXX (fraud dept) to unblock it… … I didn’t recognise the number – and suspected a ‘scam’ – so – I logged into my bank’s phone app (( using biometric process – fingerprint / facial recognition. ))… I established that the text was genuine – and that my credit card was blocked…. I asked for it to be unblocked – but the request was ignored – again telling me to phone XXXXXXXX….why ? …. Surely the bank knew it was me – I had used a fairly sophisticated log in process – and unless a scammer had cut off my finger and chopped off my face, the bank could be sure of my identity……. I then wondered to myself…… I delayed phoning XXXXXXXX to unblock my credit card…. The next day I offered my debit card for a payment – it was accepted !..... and it continued to be accepted on several more occasions up to the return to the UK. What I can’t understand is why the use of my ‘physical’ credit card was accepted after the ‘virtual’ credit card was declined – surely, if my bank thought that the declined attempts were ‘hacks’ – then, it must also seem that the use of my debit card for the same transaction was also fraud ! …ALSO – why didn’t the bank put a block on my debit card (( for the same aforementioned reason )) – instead the bank allowed me (( or potential hacker )) to go on a spending spree…….. So my bank were happy to allow an anonymous / identity unconfirmed person to use my debit card – but – when I use my biometrics to log into a secure bank app, the bank somehow don’t believe it’s me !!
I've had this, even after a card is blocked, it does not stop it being presented again and used, but in my case I was not responsible for any payments after the block. I admitted I had still been using the card and they were my purchases, but as far as the bank were concerned in my case and with my honesty, I was not charged for the purchases. Although things have changed alot since, so who knows. Plus cash was king back then, didn't realise the states had evolved this much, but it does not surprise me about the tapping, they always were behind on the latest stuff, oddly.
I must have been watching a different game. Well done to The Gills... just about deserved the win - for the extra effort they put into the game v Port Vale. Did people forget this wasn't a Premier League match ?.... Whilst I'll admit that only a few (half) chances were made by either team, for my part I thought that Gills played with much more pace and intensity than for a long time.... Gills closed down the opposition more quickly than in a long time....Gills moved the ball forward quite a bit more - and I was very happy at the pace and 'running' shown by Wylie, Wakeling, Little & E.Williams... The quartet seemed to be a nuisance for Port Vale. Overall I thought that Gills produced a bit more pressure and just did enough to deserve the win..... I'd be happy to see today's effort and performance replicated for the rest of the games this season. .... Have we found a formation and tactics that might just bring us success come May 2025 ?.. I thought the back 3 played exceptionally well... The system seems to suit Ehmer - and Clark in a more forward wing-back role gets the best out of him... AND as I stated, Wylie, Wakeling, Little & E. Williams together seems to give Gills a chance of controlling the midfield and moving forward with reasonable speed...... just need to create something out of all that possession and control.
A warning ....... and it was always going to cost me more than 23 pence in the long run! Just a gentle reminder to people about a scam ( among many )...... especially at this busy time of the year - when we're all ordering loads off the internet - don't get caught for what appears to be a trivial amount asked for a ' problem with delivery. ' I got a text to say that the Evri package (( I am expecting any day )), has a ' problem ' - allegedly the address is unclear... The message asked me to confirm my name & address - and asked for 23 pence to process the admin for delivery ! I haven't yet gone completely ga- ga and didn't believe the text was genuine..... I checked & tracked my order - which ( coincidentally ) came up with 'rolling' bits of information -- including the fact that Evri will never send a text citing delivery problems - or requesting payment etc. I am sure that most of us would have been as wary as myself - but - the text had an 'air' of innocence - and I suppose it would have been easy to fall for it - and then suffer the consequences - with the 23 pence followed by my credit card details being used to pay for items costing £££££££. Please, everyone - check ( with the courior / seller ) before parting with personal and credit card information... It might be inconvenient - but not half as inconvenient as sorting out the fallout when you are 'scammed.'
How to play football ?..... (( nb - not for the purist ! )) Port Vale v Crewe ...... How to play if you have to (( try to )) defend a 1-0 lead with 10 men for 40 (+7) minutes..... How to play if you're 0-1 down -- and end up disappointed because you only got a draw. Last night's game was a million times better than too many performances by Gills this season.... The game wasn't overly pretty - but compelling.... I don't come to Priestfield for ' pretty ' football - but I do expect a bit of passion - unlike Ehmer's comment to a disgruntled fan after the dreadful passionless noneffort v Harrogate (( and in most of the other 5 home games* we've lost ))-- so far. * includes mickey mouse cup games.
Currys (( the 'electrical' retailer........ who specialise in 'smart' watches !! I have resisted the temptation ( thus far ) to include Asda - with one of their annoying adverts -- where the female 'voiceover' extols the virtues of Gnomes - but pronounces the word with two syllables as '' no-me ''!! I am surprised she didn't go the whole-hog by saying a 'hard' G (ger)nome. -- but -- for sheer stupidity (( unless I'm missing something - (other than a wristband ) ) - the Currys advert wins by a mile.... In Currys Black Friday sale you can buy a Huawei 'smartwatch' - and you'll get a 'free' strap !!! ........................... well - it wouldn't be a very smart watch without a strap !
Huawei, I got to say I bought an Huawei phone from Argos got to be 3.5 years ago now, and it's still going strong on the same battery! - can't remember how much I paid for it, but no more than £150. I've got through some very expensive mobile phones (androids) in my time, that do no more than the Huawei for a fraction of the cost. Would defo look to buy another one when this one finally gives up.
I reckon Scrooge would be more generous !........It's coming up to Christmas again - and I don't think I'll be impressed with at least one of the presents I'll receive -- and not just because it might be socks or a ghastly jumper ! People say that it's the thought that counts - not the cost of the gift - but - sometimes it's easy to get angry with what I receive.....or -to be precise -what others get - who have done nothing for my great grandma ! I have a particular miser in my family - my elderly great grandmother Rachel*... She is a multi millionaire - actually a multi billionaire It's not money that she has earned or worked for - It's all been given / inherited or 'charged' to tenants over whom she has fiscal control !.... You'd think that, as 'family', I would want for nothing - fat chance !.... In fact - as one of great grandma's 'tenants', she charges me a lot of 'rent' for the privilege of living in my own home and country! Every year - for over 50 years great grandma has given to only the older members of family - the same gift for Christmas (( and nothing for birthdays. )) She has given us £10 each !.... Now, 50 years ago, that £10 was worth much more that today's £10 ! - which, allowing for inflation, should be £161... People have told my rich great grandma that she should increase the value of her gifts - but great granny Rachel claims to be many billions in debt ! .... and yet, great grandma is most generous with total strangers. .... she gave our doctor a massive cash gift - equal to 22% of his salary.. The ungrateful sod wanted 36% !! Great granny even gave a train driver a huge tip....Every day there is a constant stream of people - complete strangers --beggars -- who turn up at her door asking for financial handouts... I am fairly sure that none of these people even live in this country - but - thanks to the generosity of my great grandma, these people are able to set up a home over here ! A few years ago, great grandma suddenly became a little more generous to my family at Christmas time... The cost of 'stuff' ((( such as gas & electricity ))) shot up - and she felt sorry for us - so - all the oldest members of my family were given an extra £200 to help with the bills.... BUT - this year, great grandma has told the oldest in my family that she thinks that they have too much pension, and won't be getting any help with the bills.... The oldest members of my family have pointed out that their pension is barely half the National living wage - and that they have worked all their lives - have paid in to the Pension scheme - and paid all their taxes - therefore are more than entitled to receive a Pension that is an entitlement - not a benefit ! ----and yet, great grandma continues to give total strangers ridiculous amounts of money. This year, great grandma has made her New Year intentions early.. she has said that she will stop giving to the strangers that arrive at her door on a daily basis - She has admitted that her gifts to them now amount to £ 10 Million a day. ...This is money that, basically comes from the 'rent' I have to pay to great granny...But the number of people just keeps on rising - and great grandma does nothing --- another promise she has broken - not surprising - she did have a career in Politics - and before that she tells that she was an 'Economist' in a bank (( but we found out that she only ever answered the phone in reception. ))... Great grandad, Keiran has no control over her lies! ....... but - don't worry about me and all the members of my family... We'll probably still get our £10 Christmas gift from great grandma - that should be enough to buy a candle to light and heat our homes - and hopefully enough for a carrot for Santa's Rudolf - he'll have to go without a mince pie - I can't afford to heat and eat ! Happy Christmas everyone - keep warm ((( well - only if you're an MP. ))) * have you worked out that I don't have a great grandma ? - and I don't suppose I'll inherit the family farm !
Spoiler alert …..and I’m not being ‘treacherous.’ I find it incredible that, by what is almost the halfway point in The Traitors, that the Faithful players haven’t realised that there is a massive clue in the way that the Producers introduce them each morning…. Making it much, much easier to NOT eliminate very probable Faithful players – and better guess the identity of the Traitors. The program is in its’ 3rd Series – and there have been 2 American versions (( better in my opinion.)) – each has followed the same format – which should be a huge ‘giveaway’ as to which players are most likely to NOT be a Traitor – but – this lot are too thick to realise…… and the Producers really need to shake – up things so as to not be so predictable (( eventually the players will work it out ! )) Each night we see the Traitors discussing who to ‘murder.’… Footage then is shown where the Traitors state that the Faithful player to be murdered is between X, Y and Z…. The program ends without reveal…… That happens at Breakfast the following morning - - shown at the start of the next episode…… …The Players are given entry into the breakfast room in groups of 2 or 3…. With X, & Y being the last to enter the room – leaving them all to give a dose of fake shock when they conclude that Z has been killed ! This process happens every day – usually with different Faithful players being considered for murder by the Traitors the previous night.… By the 6th episode (half way), as many as 18 different players ((( Faithful players ))), could be in the last group to enter at Breakfast….THIS very fact should be a clue to their (invariably), Faithful identity – BUT – despite this elephant-in-the-room, these Faithful players still get grief at the banishment round table later that day. The latest lot of Faithful are particularly annoying – being drama Queens (( am I still allowed to say that in this Woke World ? )) – or spend much time sulking and / or crying… and they got lucky in banishing Traitor Armani – probably because they got fed up of hearing her big gob…. And it was great to see cocky-sod Tyler given the boot – when he proudly announced that he was ‘safe’ when venturing to the Round Table.
Are you normal ?......I'm fairly sure that I'm not ! Over the weekend, I have kept up my daily 'walk' routine - despite the cold weather....... Most 'normal' people have been wrapped up sensibly. I have donned my thermal underwear - and thermal socks, scarf, hat & gloves. I have kept warm .....I'm not sure about other people I have seen on my rounds. Today, I saw a chap who didn't look too warm ( least, not around his legs. ) As he walked, he hitched up one trouser leg - up to just below his knee ! There was no apparent reason ( apart from natural stupidity.) From what I could see, he had the World's shortest socks - and his lower leg was a fairly bright red colour. ...Of course, socks ( worn by footballers ), is a pet 'hate' of mine - along with the ball not in the corner quadrant.... Yesterday, Accrington took a corner where, I swear, the ball was nearer the penalty area than the corner flag -- it was nowhere near the quadrant. ..... Any way - socks : It was always 'normal' for footballers to wear socks up to knee-level - just touching the lower part of the kneecap. ...Years ago, some players, towards the end of games, would throw away sock 'ties', along with shinpads and let socks dangle around their ankles..... I understand to help improve circulation -- although I don't think circulation would be improved by opponent studs scraped down exposed shins ! continuing with socks - some time ago, it became 'fashionable' for footballers to pull up their socks (( taking managerial command to ridiculous proportions. )) The socks would be stretched and stretched some more - up to and inside the leg of their shorts (( if these were being worn in a 'normal' way. )) - No leg flesh was on show...how on Earth do they remain 'up' ? Lately, we see socks that have holes in them - such that, the first time I witnessed the situation, I thought that the wearer had been a victim of a vicious attack by an opponent - whose studs had ripped through the garment ------ I didn't realise the 'fashion' was a deliberate choice... If we now look at shorts - players have found another way to 'annoy' me - by hitching up one ( sometimes both ) leg(s) - so high that it / they become scrunched up to the groin ! why ?.... Please don't tell me that it's some sort of code for how a corner or free kick is to be delivered - because - often defenders will perform the ritual. Of course, the worst 'offenders' when it comes to wearing of shorts has got to be postmen ( & women .) - Even in this weather.... Over the weekend, I have seen several 'posties' wearing shorts !! .... Are they ffff reezing mad ? Judging by their red-raw legs, they are not comfortable... I even see other people (( perhaps postmen on their day off ), also wearing shorts - while it's minus 2 out there. Their legs are also nearly purple in colour - as was the idiot I saw this morning - who went 'one better' - he had a short-sleeved T shirt ( no coat etc ) to match his exposed legs.... ...... tell me that's being normal ! - if it is, then I'm glad I'm not !
Got to admit that I have worn shorts all year for the last few years. As a result I think I've become oblivious to the cold, especially when I'm at the lifeboat shed. The reason for the shorts is, that I have something wrong with my legs and really can't wear trousers for more than 30 mins, before my legs feel like they're on fire.
I wear shorts for about 6 months of the year and even when I don't it's not because my legs get cold, I just get fed up with all the alwaysrights of this world staring at me in mid-winter. #jokes
I am old, grey, fat(ish), ugly, a fool – but not stupid – and definitely not a RICH Member of Parliament !......... even with my pea-sized brain, I know that it’s just not worth working, saving, having a mortgage (or paying rent )… and definitely NOT having any pension pot. I have openly declared that I have been a Gills fan since early 1963…even after moving 100 miles away many years ago…It follows that I am a person of pensionable age. I have been gainfully employed since a week after leaving school (( but did NOT claim ‘dole’ money for those 7 days !)) I have paid income tax and National Insurance for several decades… From my nett salary, I used some of the money that had already been taxed, to pay into a private pension fund… The rest of my money was used to pay my mortgage – first one was @ 16% interest. ..I had all the usual bills – such as Council Tax ( Rates) Gas & Electric, travel costs, clothes, food etc - that ‘most’ people have to pay (( unless you’re a Politician. ))…. Fortunately, I was never unemployed – and never once had to seek Government Assistance (funded by other tax-payers.)… I realise that there are many genuine cases where other people have required State help. My personal ‘politics’ differ from my preferred National politics !... During one period of employment, I worked in a financial institution ((No, dear Rachel, not in the Customer Service department! )).. I clearly understood a lot more about Economics than our darling Chancellor – and knew that, for the good of the country’s finances, we needed a Government that was at least 1 degree to the Right of Centre…………… but – on a personal basis, I always hope for as much Socialism as could be afforded by the Nation. During my life, I have been able to provide my family with reasonable creature comforts – including several multi-continental holidays….but – I have never forgotten to support those less fortunate… For many years I have ( and continue) given to a number of charities… I gladly give around 25% of my disposable income – but I’m not asking for a medal !... merely illustrating that I am not averse to ‘sharing’ my wealth (( under my terms.)) I can vividly remember the previous Labour Governments… In the Harold Wilson years ( late 60s and early 70s ), the Country was being run (( sorry, I meant ruined )) by the coal Miners – whose yearly pay demands started at 30%... The economy was heading for meltdown – with inflation hitting 27% …… it was a difficult time for a young man with a wife and family and 16% mortgage – from income which was subjected to 33% Tax…………I almost feel as if I am in some sort of Monty Python sketch ((( those of you who are old enough will know what I mean. ))) I have never shied away from paying every bloody tax that successive Governments have demanded…. And with what little money I had left, I paid for everything that my family have needed…..I stress, again, that I understand that there are genuine people who need and deserve to be helped…. I am happy that my tax can oblige the genuine social needs of our Country. I think that I have (previously) made it clear about my position regarding Boat People…. I understand their financial reason for wanting to come to the UK…. I do get wound-up when I see them costing over £41,000 per immigrant – per year…. That’s my tax money being obscenely wasted ( by Tories as well as Liebour – in case you thought I was totally anti Keir Stalin. ) ……. Of course, there are many other examples of obscene waste of my tax money – you know 15% for Train drivers – who now want more for working 5 days a week… 22% for junior doctors – who are threatening more strikes – because they had wanted 36%..... and then there’s a real classic waste of money - - £68,000 per year for a personal photographer for the Deputy Prime Minister, Angela Raynor – supposedly to improve her public image – what – while she went disco dancing in a bar whilst on a Ministerial trip abroad !..... and the obscene waste of my ( and your) tax on MP expenses…. I bet they’ve stayed toasty during the cold snap. Each Cabinet Member is permitted to claim, in expenses, circa £25,000 on top of their £91,000 salary – In the household of our Chancellor – you know – Rachel from Customer Services – who lied on her CV – and was booted out of her job with the bank – for what amounts to dodgy practices with a credit card -and skiving off work etc --- well – her husband, I am told receives a six figure salary – and apparently they own property from which they get huge £££ in rent - - Rachel claims that she struggles to pay the bills …… It’s a bloody good job she doesn’t have to rely on a Winter Fuel Allowance !.... and don’t get me started on the House of Lords. DESPITE ALL OF MY RANT – I AM ‘ happy ’ TO PAY MY TAXES – BUT….. I resent all of the aforementioned waste – obscene waste of my tax – especially paying for a ffffff- otographer. … Despite my ’ charitable ’ donations, I resent even one penny of my tax money being wasted by this ( or any) Government. … and if Rachel Reeves’ second, third, fourth home was on fire in America, I would not give one drop of my urine to extinguish the flames for her acts of trying to kill off the pensioners in this country… It seems that the first option for the idiot at No.11 Downing Street, is to extract more money from pensioners – and to prevent working people from having any money… Reeves keeps on returning to pensioners to fill the £22 Billion black hole….. The only ever-increasing black hole I see is the one in the middle of her face – and I’m not sure if 22 billion £ coins wouldn’t still rattle inside it ! We have a Parliamentary Under Secretary for the Treasury – Torston Bell (( MP for Swansea South )) – who must think he is the natural successor if Reeves ever wants to go back to Customer Services…. Mr. Bellend is no more a fan of Pensioners than Reeves… Bellend wants to remove the ‘triple-lock’ and continue to persecute pensioners until they are dead --- but – even then it won’t stop Robber Reeves from hitting families with ridiculous Inheritance taxes. I’m not sure if I have as many years as lenny hopes will allow him to see Gills in the Championship…. I was rather hoping to die without being robbed blind first…I didn’t think that either of my sons would need for any money I may have unspent – they both own businesses but – tell me that they are having to reduce staff etc etc due to the wonderful black hole that Reeves keeps on making…. I tell them that Rachel is trying to create a hole big enough for any pensioner suffering from hypothermia, to be placed – so that she can set fire to them – and thus keep her promise that none will freeze to death.
Gerry Adams If you thought my last post was a rant - think again...... I am struggling to express my rage at what our Government want to do next with my / your tax money........ They want to give Gerry Adams huge amounts of cash -- because he might have been wrongfully detained in prison..... Adams was the President / Leader of the Political wing of the IRA..... He actively supported terrorists who murdered (( which, by all accounts was preferrable to their torture of victims. )).... He might not have pulled a trigger - or threw a petrol bomb - but he was at several 'gatherings' of fine, upright citizens - who shared a fashion trend of facial masks and dark glasses..... You knew they were in the IRA - because they were the only ones walking around because their kneecaps hadn't been smashed - and lacked any tar & feathers on their body. So - any of you who think that I am going / have gone insane during the lack of Gills games over the last 2 weeks - I was not so mad to give my vote to a bunch of thieving heartless b'stards - who are now adding treachery to their list of crimes against the good of the Nation...... ...... what must King Charles be thinking - I bet he hasn't forgotten how his great-grand uncle , Earl Mountbatten , was blown to pieces by Gerry Adams IRA. ...... And -If I am mad - I know one thing - I am a damned sight more sane than our present Government...... although that might change by 2.30pm today.
Traitors....... Frankie is an idiot ! I nearly wet myself ( more than once ) - and laughed very loudly (( much to the annoyance of Mrs A )), while watching the final stages of The Traitors -- particularly as Frankie and Alexander were banished ........even if I would have preferred the pair to win ! - Yet they could easily have guaranteed to be the final 2 left standing. During the 'mission' to decide who would become the 'Seer', Alexander ran around and gave Frankie his coins - to add to Frankie's - thus ensuring she would end up with the most - and become the Seer.... At this point, Alexander should have made a pact with Frankie. He needed to remind her that the only way that a Faithful could be a winner was if 2 Faithfuls remained at the end - otherwise one Traitor would always take the lot... There can never be just one Faithful at the end.... Alexander should have told Frankie they could be the 2 Faithfuls - and split the money - and in the final 3 or 4 players, their combined vote would have guaranteed they would be the final pair ----- Frankie could guarantee that her partner being a Faithful if she chose to use her Seer power to reveal Alexander's identity - why else would Alexander, at that stage of the game, give Frankie all his 'gold' coins to help her become a seer - and implore her to chose to reveal his identity - he would be mad to do so if he was a Traitor........... How did Frankie not work that out ? Frankie got unlucky when she chose to 'see' Charlotte's identity - Frankie thought her best friend was a Faithful..... If that were the case, then Frankie could have made a pact with Charlotte, with Frankie telling the final group of 5 that both she and Charlotte were Faithful - leaving the other 3 to be prime contenders for banishment...... Instead, because Charlotte was a Traitor, both would come under suspicion from the others the moment that Frankie revealed Charlotte as a Traitor.
No danger of Gills players booked for goal celebrations !........ certainly not in January. The article might actually make you smile - particularly about a player being booked for breaking wind.** https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c5yvkgl45ydo ** ....and no danger of Gills players being booked for breaking sweat ! If (( when )), Gills don't score on Tuesday, no Gills player will have scored this year - so - is an own goal going to win the goal-of-the-month ?
There's a name for this person - and it's not 'clot' ! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...nd-taxpayer-funded-photographer-Net-Zero.html A few weeks ago, our Deputy Prime Minister, Angela Raynor announced that YOU (and me) - the taxpayer, will be funding a personal photographer - to enhance her public image...at £68,000 per year... The first pics of her was on a taxpayer funded Ministerial trip abroad - whilst she danced in a disco ! Now we have the green idiot, Milliband doing the same - a photographer at YOUR (and my) expense; £50,000 per year ..... and what do we get - a picture of him stuffing his face....... ...... and the same hypocritical clot had the nerve to criticise (quite rightly), Cameron when he engaged a personal photographer --- at least Cameron had the (eventual) decency to have the Tory party pick up the bill....... .............. I have hesitated in putting up an article that states that at least 10 Council authorities want to use a 'loophole' in the rules - to raise the Council Tax by 25%................is it any wonder that they all want to defer council elections for 2 or 3 or more years !!!.......what a bunch of clots !
