So the simple things in life that make your day?

A peck on the cheek from your woman, a bit of appreciation, a hey I love you from whoever, a box of microchips with cheese in the box, a defeat for your arch enemies, a win for Sunderland .. politeness from your barmaid, the big deal at work, the list is endless..

What's your simple thin in life that makes you smile..?

For me it's the hello diddy (that's what she calls me) every morning from my daughter..

 

For me its coming home from work and seeing the mutt go nuts to lick me to death

Going for a surf with a couple of mates and watching the sun set into the sea. Cycling up to the moors at night and switching the lights off to watch the stars. My missus pushing her arse into me when we're doing the washing up But most of all my 4 year old daughter flinging her arms around me and saying 'daddy you're the best !'

 

Having fun with my daughters and hearing them laugh.
That first bite of a percys bbq porkwich with spiced fries and rack of ribs.
Watching Chelsea lift silverware.

Getting the top revive score on Battlefield 1... every twat and their dog goes for the kills, but I play a conscientious objector who just lives to teabag and then revive my fallen comrades.

I love your atttidue to life mate, you're such a humble man and can see the wood for the trees when it comes to what really matters.

I think you're a genuine inspiration and have certainly helped give me a sense of perspective of late, as I'm sure you have for plenty of others.

As for the simple things, it's far too easy to not even recognise the little things that matter in our hectic and fast paced lives these days. Time to enjoy and savour them is the ultimate gift imo.

 

Every day people I either don't know at all or know only vaguely say "buenas dias". It makes me happy that I am here

Wise words mate, learning to live in the moment rather than wishing your life away looking forward to a weekend, a holiday a family visit etc, is something that many of us get wrong imo. Then all of a sudden 10 years has skipped by....and it's 'where the **** did that go?' Which comes down to work life balance and I've not got that right, it's about time for me to change that aspect of my life I think.

 

The simplest thing in life for me, Joe, is to take the whirly-bird up for a spin, and then play my heart out on a gross of my favourite axes in front of a packed and adoring crowd of hot pussy, before heading off to my coastal retreat for a well-deserved rest.

You caught my eye about 2 years ago on the Safc forums and I think gained a lot of respect. Life isn't all about achieving beyond your ladder of expectation, like in my world, I have achieved so much more in my heart by sharing my body with a beautiful, limited woman.
