"It's annoying",well you clearly annoy very easily.
Perhaps you can outline exactly WHO can be mentioned.
Does the mention of Toshack,Martinez,Rodgers also "annoy" you?

If you want "annoying",then I'll propose most of the Monkees, who are only capable of seeing through their one eye.
Airbrushing history can be VERY "annoying".

Many managers can only dream of being such a "failure". <laugh>

<laugh> Bit prickly there, and there's no need to be quite so confrontational. Or am I not allowed an opinion on what is annoying? I come here to talk about my team as it currently stands - player and team performances, the manager's team selections, our prospects for the future, players we might sign and so on. Those are the main reasons for me. Others, not so much maybe. It's the arguing that's the big draw.

Yes, it's good to have a chinwag about past managers and our history now and again, no problem at all. But it seems to preoccupy some, and you in particular. Laudrup seems to be a major fixation for you and you rise to the bait of 'monk's hero's' (awful English there) and a few others who seem to enjoy that exercise. So yes, it's annoying for me personally - throw in tedious as well for good measure. Judging by other posters' comments a lot of other people feel the same way too.

For the record my personal view is that Laudrup was great for us and almost certainly our most successful manager ever because of the Cup win, but we were sliding fast at the time of his departure even though I hated the way the Club handled it. But PLEASE - he's gone now and actually went in February LAST YEAR! Let's move on for goodness sake.

Now I don't want to argue or fall out with anyone but those are my observations. If you don't like them I'll still sleep soundly tonight. <ok>

    <laugh>.Sorry,Lilly,didn't really mean to offend.
Of course you can be annoyed. Anytime, anywhere.
It's just that Laudrup seems to cause SO much annoyance here - STILL - and I love to play on it.

The Monkees, who lack any real sense of humour, take it all SO seriously, and they haven't been able to see the wood for the trees.

I'm NOT "preoccupied" with Laudrup,I just like to take the rise out of his antagonists.

Perhaps you could acquire a sense of humour.

"You might enjoy it", but I doubt you would recognise it, if it fell on your head. <laugh>

Who cares what wibble enjoys Valley? wibble is nothing to this forum so let the goat bleat his selective gospel of untruths through bigoted arguments of an authoritarian right wing nature. Libertarian my arse, wibble is as fake as a politicians smile. <ok>

What's 'right wing', 'bigoted' and 'authoritarian' about having a Laudrup fixation? I don't understand.

Maybe you need to read wibbles contribution and views on anyone with a different opinion "Lillith"

I will explain my view though, I always do, even to dubious posters "Lillith": right wing, bigoted, authoritarian, everything a libertarian isn't, please try harder.

A question about Everton's goal - why were Cork and Shelvey wandering around central midfield with no one near them when we lost the ball (TBF Jonjo was close to the ref and talking to him), why did Shelvey (before they scored) stop tracking his player and start walking away from the penalty area as the ball was played in, why was Ash in no man's land and what was Taylor (who I thought, with the exception of their score, was MoM) ignoring Lennon and running towards Fab?

    "Arsehole" alert. <laugh>

Not sure about the Everton goal or looking to blame anyone. Fernandez got turned inside out but it was a good move by them. Can't always blame someone and you have to credit the opposition. Everton were decent.

Have to disagree - it was a simple move and fairly pacy, but had Rangel got back quicker Fed wouldn't have been pulled out of position drawing Ash into no man's land, Jonjo could still have made an effort to stay with his player into the box and Taylor shouldn't have given Lennon the freedom of the City it would have made life a lot harder.

Have to say I thought Rangel did OK after not playing for a while but a group near me kept blaming him for every stray pass made by Fed, Cork and Rangel himself!

Rangel and 'get back quicker' don't really go together do they? <laugh>

I agree he did OK though, but it's clear that Naughton is a step up.

There seems to be 'a group near me (i.e.you)' who have it in for every player in the Swansea squad! Come and sit next to me, Bob, and I'll give you some tips on how to appreciate the team more (Jonjo in particular) :)

...and here's a good idea. A new law could be introduced which allows a defence to freeze the opposition's attack. They can then all take a good look at their positions, where the attackers are, have a bit of a debate about it, re-adjust accordingly and then press the 'play' button for the attacking team to carry on. <ok>
