    beckham moved to a dirt league and played really deep.

    gerrard is going to try that in a lague full of pace and power and get blown off the park.

    I think i read someone about 5-6 years ago espouse a totally different plan.... the terry sheringham plan... move further forward and become a player who plays little 1-2s and gets in the box for headers and such.

    If suarez leaves i nthe summer i'd be sorely tempted to try this... outside of course spending the 80mil.

    one trick pony who was just very good at his job, he certainly wouldn't have been a celebrity without his looks and playing for utd.

    personally think over rated is a bit harsh, but he also wasn't the amazing player he is made out to be, and his caps for england show the state of our game ffs, joke he got that many caps.
