It's too easy to get carried away with all this stuff but I'd like to see the death penalty reintroduced for the brainless greasy scumbag.

See, from that answer, I know that you'll be doing one when Goofy gets a 10+ match-ban. You say you don't condone his actions, and yet you don't want him to be properly punished for them. In my book that's the same as saying that you condone his actions. How on Earth are you going to stop Goofy from acting like a twat unless you keep ramping up the punishment? Obviously, he didn't learn his lesson from the last time he bit a player (and got a lengthy ban), so what would be the point in the FA giving him the same punishment as last time? None, of course. They really have to go to town with him, this time (for his own good and the good of LFC), but I rather suspect that they will bottle it and stop at about 8 games.
I think it should be 5, 1 extra for it being especially vicious and another for it being disgusting. If he's been banned before(5 yellow cards?) or was due a 2 game ban for his tenth booking of the season(forget when the amnesty starts) then he could get extra for those but really I fail to see how the bite needs a punishment similar or in excess of the one he got for repeatedly racially abusing a player.
So you don't think the FA should anything on for this being the 2nd major offense in 18mths and that they warned him about his future conduct? Not to mention the 2nd biting in his career.
Fair enough, he was warned about future conduct but as you said, it was eighteen months ago. How long does a player have to be on parole for? Surely eighteen months is more than enough time, if not why are others not punished more severely? Rooney with swearing / elbows etc. Terry with Racism after being the trouble he had as a youngster? The warning period has to have an expiry period! The other biting incident is irrelevant because it was in another country under a different authority. The only way this will effect the outcome is if UEFA/FIFA become involved which isn't going to happen. As I keep saying, I hope he gets punished but it just does not fit in with the FA rules or other punishments dished out. I think most bans should be longer!
Not really for this incident but he needs to stop being given the benefit of the doubt, he's stamped on players ankles, raked down calves, kicked Parker in the stomach and numerous other instances where he should've been banned but the FA didn't take action because he was given the benefit of the doubt. I still don't think the bite itself deserves an especially long ban but if he does get 10 games or something he still deserves more for what he's got away with so I won't be shedding any tears for him.
Life, and teeth extraction Unless, as I suspect, his wisdom teeth haven't grown through yet as he certainly needs those Seriously though as its not his first time he's don it so it obviously should carry a much heavier penalty. @ Gerrez imo there shouldn't be any time length at all, it should just be a fixed warning, how does time make it any better, (especially as he didn't learn from it anyway). As an example, If my kids had done something like that when they were young I would have punished them, if they had dared to do it again no matter how long after the first time they would have been in deep trouble, they knew that and so should he have. Which brings us to the question what do you think should happen if he now goes on to do this a 3rd time perhaps in 2 years time ?
