What gets me is the total disrespect for the country that invented the game, nevermind anything else, one host in how many decades?

I really don't know how FIFA have become totally self regulating in this day and age.

Blatter is more slippery than a bucketful of eels, and has pulled more strokes than Ian Thorpe. However, it looks like we're stuck with the crooked old ****. Just to cheer us up even more, Platini is now the odds on favourite to succeed him. Yes, folks. Football DOESN'T get any more corrupt than this.:emoticon-0108-speec

I dont actually hate Septic Bladder, but it is the way he and the frog Platini continually stick two fingers up at the most succesful football league system in the world that gets on my nerves.

He wants the world cup to go to the highest bidder then its going to be the middle east every year.

Or, some other sweaty damned hole like Brunei.

Well if that is how septic wants to play it fair enough, maybe we should withdraw with one or two other key teams till they start talking sense, it worked in formula one!
 
The whole thing is like some bad Graham Greene novel. Tin pot dictators and martinets. The anti English thing is getting tired based on the Rous era which ended years ago. Because at the time the system was outdated and exclusive and was rightly voted out. Now we have a similar situation. An outdated organisation run by cronies who are desperate to cling to the money and power they have managed to set up for themselves. The FA has to continue to put pressure on them without patronizing them, keeping to the facts and taking the moral high ground. The bungs, bribery and blatant nepotism will continue because these people are too arrogant to stop. Keep the investigations going and in a couple of years when the **** hits the fan the FA will come up roses. And we can put forward a reform candidate to stand against Platini, who after all will be revealed as Blatter's butt boy who would just continue the whole sordid excuse that is FIFA if he got elected
 
FIFA are corrupt, because the FA failed to bribe FIFA delegates with invites to the Royal Wedding and sending the delegates' wives eye-wateringly expensive handbags for the right to stage a World Cup based solely on the entitled opinion "We invented football, you didn't, so gimme gimme gimme" - there's a logic gap in those accusations somewhere...
 
Any organisation that holds an election where there's only one candidate is obviously a total joke.

The whole thing is totally corrupt and it needs to be taken out.
