Oh and other than the obvious flop for me, i would say Skuse!! What i saw of him from Christmas onwards, i thought he was absolute dig doo!!! As for Garvan and Lita, nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
expectations for me are a top 10. I don't see any spark in the team that will take us any further although the togetherness and work ethic that MM has instilled in the team will go some way to address the lack of individual flair. A good season from McG will also help to gain a place or two. The wide players are going to be key for me. Having new fullbacks and new wide midfielders will potentially totally change the way we play. Will the wide players actually play wide or will the keep narrow and limit our crossing options. Will we have a RB who can comfortably play the modern full back role and if these issues are addressed will we still be able to stay compact. Overall a repeat of last season with a bit more style and a few more points will be about what I am hoping for.
Can we replace the assists from Cresswell, is the overriding question I have for the season. It becomes imperative that we get the service to McGoldrick and Murphy. Either through our wingers or midfield. I'm predicting another slow start while the team adopts which will ultimately cost us in the play race but once again we will run it very close. Best player Smith. Flop - unfortunately im predicting this will be Henshall, didnt do enough to get in to the squad during his loan here and Taylor seems to be on a second wind.
I think that Cameron Stewart will be the direct replacement for Cresswell in supplying the ammo. Looking forward to the new season. We have nothing to fear apart from fear itself!
