I'm sure no footballer would undergo biological debridement; he'd be known as "Maggot" for ever after!
We can talk about the kit on this thread... don’t think we need a new one. Has anyone seen that we are having green numbers and names on the back of the home shirt? I am liking this, but I know it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. What’s everyone’s thoughts?
Quite like the new shirt. Fairly plain and simple. As always (imho) the sponsor spoils the overall effect. The Lotus sponsor on the junior / academy shirts is not much better due to the comparative size of it too. Given an adult replica is £50 Interested to know would you pay more for an unsponsored version?
League Cup coming up and we are Ball 23 . https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/2020/august/city-given-ball-number-for-tuesdays-carabao-cup-draw/
EFL Trophy, our U21's play Cheltenham Town, Newport County and Plymouth Argyle in the group stage. Good job the draw is regionalised to prevent long trips, isn't it...?
Yes it is 5 September. Good chance for our young players to get a chance, but Luton won't be easy. With the addition of Skipp and Quintilla, we now have a squad of 36 players. Of those, Drmic, Leitner, Trybull and possibly Vrančić could move on, leaving 32. Idah, Thomas and Mumba will probably play with the U23s as well, but that still leaves 29. Given that we're said to be looking at strikers and CBs, they must be expecting others to move on.
We have a pre-season game on 26th August versus Dynamo Dresden and on the 29th Vs Darmstadt. So presumably a training camp in Germany?
MK Dons links further strengthen. Wonder if this is so Russ can take his pick of our youngsters & off casts.
With few games being televised and no supporters allowed to watch the games. I may need to invest in a wireless to listen to Radio Norfolk. It's pathetic that they block the match commentary if you are not in the county . I usually listen through freeview but this only works if you are in the Anglia region . As far as match day threads go maybe this season we can do a winner stays on format so unless the OP registers a win or draw then someone else gets to pick up the baton ?
“Xavi isn’t particularly pacey, but he can hold his own. He has a good cross and creativity is where his strengths lie. He is an okay defender from what we have seen, and he may improve given his age and the fact he has been thrust in at the highest level, but protection in behind wouldn’t go amiss, particularly in the Championship." Oh dear! We aren't exactly noted for providing "protection in behind" our FBs.
