Well done for avoiding these jokes on the QPR board, they have a sense of humour vacuum when it comes to this sort of sh.it! They were all burning torches and pitchforks about my comments on the RIP thread a while back. Most are ok but there are some proper old tarts who grass you up to the mods if you say something they don't like. Good job I didn't make the crude "he was supposed to make a big splash at Cardiff" gag on the home site! Joking aside, it is a grim one for the poor chap and crew to go that way. As much as I can't stand Cardiff FC or Colin I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Indeed. There is an excellent Here's A Joke For You thread if you want to check it out but even on that some folks don't like anything too near the knuckle. The general football comments threads are rather straight-laced and they don't like anyone taking the piss. The RIP thread started off a few years ago when Bowie kicked the bucket but it ended up with absolutely anyone who died being mentioned. Nothing to do with football, nothing to do with QPR just some random session musician who played the penny whistle on some obscure folk song in the 70's (or something like that) and when I said this diminished the impact of genuine persons of interest I got shouted down. Mods are on the case if things get out of hand. I'd recommend their music thread, folks post a lot of new and old stuff on there. It's where I go when General Chat is quiet.

Precisely. I cannot abide hypocrisy. Ate least I say what I mean until the next time I contradict myself but that's a condition I have which is unfortunately not treatable. You cannot trust an ex copper on anything they say. Believe me.
