I had the same thought. "It does'nt matter"?
So if player clearly dived to win a Penalty and won the match would it "Not matter?"
I am utterly at a loss to see how he could give that - the ball canoned off ledley from a metre away as he dived in to tackle with his foot. An absolute joke. We shouldve just walked off the park before it was taken. Let the spl get on with writing some new rules about that.

I think - im pretty sure actually - that I am generally fairly sang-froid about this kind of stuff - but that has really ****ing annoyed me, seriously poor, that ****wit shouldnt be in charge of a five-a-side kickabout. What can be so hard to understand about intent and the movement of ball to hand ?

It couldve all been so different if Ki had got his haircut properly so that big Helmet wouldnt have stopped him directing the ball properly its that kind of detail lennon lacks the experiance to pick up and deal with......oh, Im trying to laugh about it now but its not really working.

that is very true , glenda tried to shepherd the hearts player rather than deal with the situation...still think lurch laid it on a plate , as he often does.....I do think he has the makings of a good keeper but his decision making is still not there, maybe thats to do with his age.
Of course you are right. This ref is known to be quite happy to award penalties. One need only look at the three games he has officiated involving Rangers to know that thee merest hint of an infringement shall be punished harshly.
Watch it again, it's clearly Chuck that is caught sleeping and let's Skacel get away from him!
