    Technology Department - Project Engineering Division. Major proportion of activities centred on the detectors (principally the ATLAS and CMS) of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, Geneva Switzerland. Completed involvement with both detectors in 2009.

    Them wind farms should be producing power like mad now, the warmer it gets the more cheap, renewable power we will have <ok>

    (unless of course, the wind is outside the limited operating parameters of the turbines :bandit:)

    What site is that from (seriously), I am struggling to find input data on the national grid site just real time and projected demand.

    BTW check out the info on that page. The 12% (4.4GW) is only the metered wind power. There is about another 2.2GW of unmetered wind power that bypasses the grid and powers things directly.
