Yeah. I'm a Melbourne Victory (Soccer) Fan but don't get the chance to go out here in 'the sticks' but their games are all broadcast live so watch them on TV. I just thought SUNderland - Gold Coast SUNS that you might have tagged them. I've been a Hawthorn (Australian Rules Football to you who don't know) Fan since 1967 (when they were pretty ****) but we've 3 back-to-back-to-back Grand Finals the past three seasons so we are on a high just now.
I have to say, Comm's idea to start this thread was sound as it was when the idea originally kicked off. Correct me if I'm wrong, which is a shocking concept I know, but it was Disco who first suggested it. The idea was received with a fair bit of surprise and reluctance ........ but, it's made people more tolerant of each other imo and improved the board. Sadly, as in my case, we're not all good looking young lads, but we are what we are. I've noticed that a few people have crept away as well which makes you think they were just fake personae. As I've said before the keyboard warriors, who's raison d'etre is to mock, don't have the balls to copy this idea on their own board. Cowards you might call them
Everyone who has taken part- . But if you haven't, it doesn't make you coward, a fake or a keyboard warrior.
Maybe a bit like myself,there not to good with computers.or maybe a bit shiy on the other hand you could be right.
I haven't taken part because I am wary of sticking my ugly face on the net in today's climate of Identity theft, scams etc. but I do not consider myself a keyboard warrior, fake or coward (well not in this instance ). If anyone wants to do it that's their perrogative and I have no problem with it - its just not my thing
Just to clarify. The keyboard warriors, fakes & cowards I'm talking about are keyboard warriors, fakes & cowards and not decent lads like yersel ....... ..... I'm not lumping absolutely everyone in the same category What I'm saying is that I've never seen the likes of this on any other board. The Mag or GC boards are full of obvious fakes & cowards who have the skills to post a photo but not the courage. They hide behind a fake persona and pretend to be what they're not. It's noticeable that none of them have dared come near this thread because they know what I've said is true ...... they shy away from the truth.

I retired to a little place called Traralgon about 200 kms east of Melbourne about 12 years ago. I saw that Luke Brattan has joined Manchester City - he was born in my home town of Hull I believe.
