I know the season hasn't even started but there are some managers already bookies favourite to get the bullet in the championship.

Currently at 6/1
Pearson at Hull
Cotterill at Pompey

8/1 are
Clough at Derby
Millen at Brizzle
Grayson at Leeds
Thorn at Coventry

As yet no odds for Hughton, Allardyce or McClaren. If I was a gambling man i'd put a tenner on McClaren being the first of these three to go. Who do you guys think will go first?

Got to be the first (next) one to go blodders.

Crikey, if they were all season odds, I'd have a couple of grand on most of them getting the bullet.
 
The real challenge is to identify the one that WILL be there at the end of the season.

MM will be one of those names though.

So with DJs demise, who is now the longest serving championship manager?
 
Blodders first one to go. If it was for the season I'd put money on Big Sam, McClaren and Hughton getting sacked.
Big Sam because of the style of football, I don't think hammers fans will put up with it.
McClaren because he's crap.
Hughton, just don't see him as a manager, a good number two is his limit.

Not sure I agree with the fans not putting up with it, after last season I reckon Hammers fans will put up with anything if it gets them results. On the other hand, I don't reckon they have the players to make it work nor the cash to buy ones that will, so Sam may be a good outside punt after all.
 
Grayson for me - Leeds will soon demand a bigger name as their manager, especially if the first few games don't go as they want.
 
Mc Cleish from Villa for me. If he start badly the fans will really be up in arms and I think the dirctors will bottle it.
And which ever of the "Big" clubs in the Championship gives the manager the boot first, there will be DJ standig nin the shadows ready to step foward and "steady the boat" lol Which means he could be back a lot sooner than we think. lol
 
Got to be Grayson. Clough's name will keep him in the job until at least Christmas as long as they steer clear of relegation zone, but if Leeds aren't top 6 straight off then Grayson is done before the middle of October.

Outside shot I would say Allardyce. I just can't see anything other than a West Ham free-fall and he might jump ship before he's pushed.

I see no other way for the board of west ham to react after we have drubbed they 8-0 at Upton Park. ;-))
