At the time you were just bitter. He'd just delivered your highest top flight league finish in 30 years love. He did a good job for us last season, but he's lost he plot so far this one.
Honestly, truly not. It was a very, very weird league that year (hence Leicester) where the usual top teams were ****e and he lucked into a formation that clicked which he was forced into by injury, when he was on the verge of the chop. Also, he had Mané. He’s just not that good. Ask a Valencia fan.
Meh. He'll get the sack this week anyway barring a miracle tomorrow at home to Arsenal and then away at Chelsea on Weds. He's never connected with the fans at Goodison, maybe it's just his Dutch demeanour but he's not, particularly liked
I hear you. It’s definitely not working and he doesn’t look arsed. I’d like you to hold on so we can put that final nail in though. Please?!
The place is toxic at the minute, a battering by Arsenal tomorrow and he could go Monday. The fans will turn on him and that's always the end for a manager at Everton
I agree, Koeman will be the first to go, if Everton bomb, tomorrow. It's a shame, because I think he'd come good with more time. He's the type of manager that I can see doing well for the Gunners.
Why don't Everton and West Ham swap? See how that works out for you. The last thing that crashed this badly after leaving Southampton was the Titanic. Poor old Ronald Konman.
Highest paid manager in football?...(allegedly) ... nobody ... it's all about integrity and loyalty to current club for the vast majority of managers
Koeman for me. Spent a fortune on overpriced players and replaced a prime Lukaku with a past his best Rooney. Bilic won't be far behind. He's also spent on overpriced players. Arnautovic has looked shocking.
Funnily enough, I'm starting to like him more and more Actually, I always did. Gutted when he left Saints, but not half as gutted as I was when the scowling Argie left. He makes some strange decisions though. Stekelenburg? Martina? Neither are PL class imo.
Joined a bigger club, got to a final, finished higher in the league and watched his old club drop like a stone. Then he joined another club that was bigger than Southampton: Wolves. Got Ruperted there, which you're rather familiar with.
We lost to Blackburn, matching your best ever season in the competition. You went out in round two to Sheffield Wednesday and narrowly avoided relegation. A good season for you, really.
