One ante-post bet this year so far for me:

    RyanAir:

    Rubi Light
    10/1 Ladbrokes (27/12/11)
    8/1 Hills (16/01/12)

I think this horse is under rated. Ok it got beat by Synchronised last time out but was over 3 miles and I think better suited to Ryan Air distance. Was in the process of giving Sizing Europe a beating till fell earlier in the season. I will wait to nearer the festival but if the ground looks like coming up soft I will be in again. Still think will win on good ground but ideal is soft.

Will prove himself this weekend at Gowran Park in final prep....

Ollie Rubi Light is a classy horse. The only concern for me is the ground, might just get outpaced at the end again, but very very smart horse.

Top: The ground I understand your opinion but his trainer states and the horse (proven in last years Ryan Air) will go on any ground. He got close on good ground last year and is a massively improved horse this year. Can see where your coming from with being out paced at the end.

Agreed though that the softer the better for him and it will improve his chances even more and may inconvenience others. I wouldn't though be concerned if it came up on the good side.

Great run from him yesterday. Just hope he stays fit and well.

Good luck to you and all with your selections in the race.
