He was being interviewed by the media when I staggered between them. The interviewer looked bemused, and Pete had a cheeky grin on his face, as if he enjoyed the spectacle of the drunken ****wit blundering in and burbling gibberish at him. It was one of those drunken moments that seemed like a good idea...at the time.
After this weekend's results, assuming City do get 6 points off Fleetwood & Sunderland, technically (mathematically) speaking, at least 4 clubs could end up with more points than we could, so the playoff lottery could come into play. (Maybe a fifth team if Portsmouth score a shedload of goals in their last 7 games). Long odds mind.
Don’t count the chickens before the eggs hatch. There are still possibilities for all sorts of things to happen. My hope for the rest of the season is just promotion. It would be nice to be Champions but I will breath easier after we win another three. Like I have said I don’t care if it’s all one nil wins. Keep winning, win ugly if you have to, avoid defeat if you are behind. The points are all that matters now.
Their home results over the full season have been nowhere near as impressive as their away results, so we’ll both probably beat them, you know like we did Posh at their place
You only won because we got a man sent off , but good luck to you we beat you at your place . All both team now is to keep winning and may the best team win .
Looking at pish fixtures they've got four out of six games on that mud heap. h. Northampton win, h. Gillingham draw, a. Charlton draw, h. Donny win, h. Lincoln draw, a. Donny win = 88pts City get 9 pts and maintain the plus 7 gd = job done.
I have done a series of calculations based on previous results, up coming fixtures and games in hand. I have concluded that we will finish in
I be happy just going up cant see you beating Sunderland or us beating Charlton Lots of twists and turns before end of season
