Just cheered myself up by looking at Spammers last 4 fixtures and they could easily lose them all <laugh>
With Swansea, Palace, Hull and the most attackingest team all picking up points in recent games, there's still a decent chance of the Taxpayers Arena hosting Championship games next season! <cheers>

No better team right now to prove ourselves against after yesterday. palace have had some amazing results against Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. A win on Wednesday will feel like a huge 3 points and is the perfect opportunity to show where we're at mentally.
Agree with this - and in more than one way delighted that Palace have got this win. Should prevent any complacency, but at the same time Palace haven't just turned into a Madrid or Bayern - they are still the same club that has struggled for much of the season and if we turn up with the right attitude should get a win. :emoticon-0148-yes:

"We have Tottenham on Wednesday and Burnley after that. It lifts the pressure on us. I am worried these lads can't reach this level when they don't have time to recover. I may have to make huge changes to make sure we compete with Tottenham."
Not sure how to take this, but guessing he will look to the Burnley game to confirm safety and rest Zaha, Townsend, Benteke etc. on Weds (He said, hopefully....... <laugh>)

A win against Burnley and they're definitely safe. It would make a great deal of sense for them to make as sure as possible that they beat the worst away team in the league. If that means they rest a few against us, it will be a bonus. Even if they don't, they're looking past the next game which is always dangerous.

There's been lots of writing us off since Saturday and from last year. We need to crush that for our own belief and that starts Wednesday. We die on the pitch rather than fail to win that game. Win it and the derby takes care of itself to my mind.

Not so sure about the phrasing, all things considered...

So we're apparently guaranteed at least one win...

Oh, FFS. <doh>
I especially like the second one, where they moan about them never losing a NLD with Oliver in charge. Morons.

So, updated Final Table Prediction after weekends league results

Chelsea 88
Spurs 84
Man City 82
Liverpool 78 (their max but it's an easy run in) - <8 points from 6 games guarantees Champ League Group games for us - 11 pts guarantees second place>
Man Utd 72
Arsenal 70

We gain 2 points on my assumptions, as I had factored in a draw tonight. Only change tonight. If I am right (and need an Everton win this weekend and a win for us in the NLD) its gonna get tense

Final Table
Chelsea 88
Spurs 86

It's as you were, but they've played a home game against a team with nothing left to play for and you've come through a tricky away game.
So I think your slightly better off than you were 48 hours ago overall

You really are the antithesis of RCL aren't you?? <laugh>
No place for positivity on this board, thank you very much.....
