We need to keep ahead of these as they are the main contenders to replacing us in the play offs. Depending on results it's possible that a couple already in the play offs could slip up and/or some lower down creep into contention. If so I'll include those.

How did we end up with 3 away games to finish? Leyton Orient seem to have the best run in. I'd say that it's at the stage where momentum is key.

Can you really see us dropping only 4 points in our last 7 games Guy? We need some teams around us to drop points

I cant see us losing many games, we seem too solid defensivly. I think we need 4 wins of the 7, which whilst that possible our consistency worries me a lot. Beating wimbledon could be important, as that would pretty much discount them from the race. If we make it into the playoffs i cant see us winning them anyway.

Still, given that finishing 7th would most likely leave us playing plymouth, rovers or oxford any game/atmosphere could be very interesting <laugh>

<laugh> He'll certainly need to lie down. Should we offer him some training?

It's definitely nail biting time. But once again, would we be able to compete in League 1 or would it be a season of disappointment?

It would almost be tragic if we got promoted this time but not last season - our squad seems significantly weaker this time around!

Although we now own more of our starting 11 then last season, I'm thinking Saunders, Mawson and Yennis as examples. Building up a competitive squad that we own will be key to getting and staying up. Out of our regular staring 11 I can only think McCarthy is on loan. However as always finding a goal scorer would be key to survival.
