Possibly as likely as their projection of Bristol City finishing 24th?

    We'll that's definite then! <laugh>

As for Ipswich, they're on equal points with us, so on paper they have the same chance we do. Current form goes against them though. We have the advantage in the potential of our 3 new players and Jarvis coming into the squad. It's still a long shot, but much better than a few weeks back.

Another factor in the run-in is the fitness of our players due to the new regime. Jerome commented on it and how strange it was for British players when he left. The results of this seem to be showing now and could give us an advantage in our remaining games.

Every new Derby I just feel "they have to win one game, each games becomes more likely."

I'm really worried about this game. We are pretty awful at home. We can't break teams down who press and sit back. That's how Mick will set up. Is going to be a tight and nervy game I think. At home, those games we often lose. Maddison can't score a winner in every single game. No-one else usually turns up. We are well over due a derby loss. Every one of these games I think "If we can just do one more.." Can't go on forever. Just 1 more game please lord!

Paddy Davitt sees Leitner as a potential wildcard for the Derby. I agree, and for the rest of the season as well. His ball control and passing is excellent already and will improve as he gets to know the other players. He can play as a 10, 8 or 6 which allows fluidity in getting the ball to the attacking players. That's crucial in any game, but moreso when the other side is sitting back. IMO he and Maddison will be the difference on Sunday.

I’d love that. They are going to target Madders. Kick lumps out of him and smother him with players. They wouldn’t be able to do that as well, if they had Leitners tecnique and skill to worry about as well. I also think we need some pace as an outlet. I’d be tempted to throw Hernandez in. Or at last use him early in the second half as an impact against tired legs.

Agreed FML and he could cause havoc, especially now he's had more time to get to know his teammates.
    I'll be there!!!! <ok>

It's quite exciting that we have as yet unknown potential in our squad with Leitner, Hernandez and Srbeny. So far we've seen more of Leitner and his interplay with Madders and the front players to think that he could provide real problems for the opposition. We've also seen Hernandez's pace in cameo appearances and that Srbeny is a big unit in his one cameo appearance. How this plays out will be interesting to see.

No. He's our new Becchio / Lafferty. Every team needs one.

His time will come if he works for it in training and earns a place on the bench.

Depending on Bristols result later, we could be 10 points off the pace for the playoffs, Wolves is a must win as is every game from here on in, the way the top six are going I can see us needing to get to 77 or more to be in with a chance, can we do that given that we have to play at home 7 times? not likely! beating Wolves away is more likely than us winning 5 or more at home, our home form will do for our season.

    Bah!

It's pretty worrying that DF doesn't seem to learn anything from home game to home game. Every game looks the same, but he changes nothing.

Well General, we are only 1 point behind your forecast, so the next 3 games will tell us much more.

After yesterday I think I need to review the predictions for all home games to 0-0 bore draws, with all away games 1-0 wins. Except Fulham who will thrash us where ever it' played!

    Bah!

Well Bristol lose again, only 7pts from 6th, we're catching them! we can still do this? It'll only take another 7 games at this rate, that and some miraculously aligned results from everyone between us and them.

    Bah!

Or even down to 3. I was nervous about the ips game but thought we would win. And we should have won against bolton.

    Bah!
