I'm just glad that the battle for 3'rd and 4'th is quite interesting because Man Utd won the league a few months ago so that's a little boring.

It's good that its 3 London clubs involved as well. Stakes are high as whichever of the 3 misses out it would be disastrous in the long run.

If Arsenal beat WBA on Saturday, I'm confident they'd finish 4th at least, I will make up my mind completely after next weekends results.

I had Chelsea on 72, Spurs on 70 and Arsenal on 69.

So far Arsenal are +2 up, Chelsea -1 and Spurs -1 on my forecast.

United coasted against Reading and Villa, they are nothing like what they were 6-8 weeks ago when the title was still in the balance. We've outplayed United on all 3 occasions we've played them this season so it will hardly daunt us, I think we'll lose at Anfield though.

In reality none of us can look at it objectively, you seem sure Everton will take points off Spurs and Chelsea will draw with Spurs which would suit Arsenal to a tee, just as I'm sure United will take their foot of the gas and we will do well against Spurs

What gives Chelsea and Arsenal the edge is that they've been there and done it before, but up to now Spurs are 3rd on merit be it largely because of Bale or not.

Arsenal have more balance to the squad than Chelsea or Spurs albeit IMO Spurs and Chelsea have a better starting XI. You'd have to say at this stage if Mata or Bale got injured its season over for both those teams <ok>

Not really, we just have been much better defensively but the goals have dried up, and you have not outplayed us, all 3 games were tight and we could have won all 3 ourselves and SAF has said we want to beat your record so we will go to the end, especially as teams will be fighting for places and survival.

Okay, let's extend this out a bit further. I'm going to make my predictions for the rest of the games:

ARSENAL:

WBA
A - 1pt
Norwich H - 3pts
Fulham A - 3pts
Man Utd H - 1pt
QPR A - 3pts
Wigan H - 3pts
Newcastle A - 1pt

Total - 15pts

SPURS :

Everton H - 1pt
Chelsea A - 1pt
Man City H - 1pt
Wigan A - 1pt
Southampton H - 3pts
Stoke A - 1pt
Sunderland H - 3pts

total - 11pts

CHELSEA:

Sunderland H -3pts
Spurs H - 1pt
Liverpool A - 1pt
Swansea H - 3pts
Man Utd A - 0pts
Villa A - 1pt
Everton H - 1pt

Total - 10pts

Which would give a final standing of :

3.Arsenal 68pts (on GD)
4.Spurs 68pts
5.Chelsea 65pts

don't Arsenal and chelsea have one game more in hand than spurs? why all 3 have 7 matches here?
and i think by the time you will be playing us, we could (hopefully) had win the league already, thus UTD can be more complacent

When you consider Chelsea do far better against top half teams than bottom and Arsenal the reverse there isn't much in it.

Really hasn't been the case this year. Arsenal's problems have come against the top 4. Seven losses, United, Chelsea twice, Man City, and Spurs are 5 of them. Chelsea have also slipped up against the weaker clubs far more than usual.

I take issue about these so called trends. A few years ago Arsenal "Always" started strong and then died off at the end of a season, but the last couple of seasons it has been the other way round. Arsenal have started weakly, probably due to player losses and the new players being unfamiliar with the PL, and then improved as the team gelled.

I sincerely doubt all three teams will beat Everton, although they are all playing at home. Spurs will be lucky to beat Stoke away. I'm surpised you dont think we will win one of WBA, QPR, or Fulham. I suggest you put money on that, you would get very, very good odds.

Have you watched Stoke recently? They are utter ****, Spurs are going to batter them.

I think Tottenham have a little more steel this year, they've had their wobble, got lucky with the international break but did well to win yesterday at Swansea, I think they'll hold on.
Our biggest chance comes with Chelsea being distracted by the 2 cups, I'll be cheering them on tomorrow and hope they make both finals in the hope it affects their league form.

They have lost 2 games at home in the PL all season. They have held us, Man City and Everton to draws, and beaten Liverpool. Their only losses came to Chelsea and West Ham. Previous results suggest that Spurs "Battering them" is extremely unlikely.

Their fans have massively turned against Pulis and the old Stoke resolve is gone. Stoke have very few talented players, so they rely on hard work. Without that, they are not premiership quality. Spurs have been excellent away from home this season (only Man Utd have more away wins), so they are odds on favourites to beat Stoke for me. Like Sunderland, Stoke are on a downward spiral that will hopefully seem them get relegated.

West Brom- 3 pts
Norwich- 3 pts
Everton- 3 pts

I can see you getting 3 points frm United if only because they will have the League title wrapped up by then and if you guys are seriously going to gun down Chelsea and Spurs you will need to win. One thing against Spurs is if they progress in the Europa League they will find it difficult to raise their game again on a Sunday. Feel Chelsea might kind of "defaut" in that competition if they beat United in the replay!!

Can see Chavski losing this weekend. They play on Monday then Thursday before their game.

Problem is they are playing against Sunderland at home.. Despite the possible boost Sunderland might get from their new manager, can't see anything but a home win in that one.
