And why wouldn't we be?! We're an amazing prospect compared to those well established Premiership clubs. If he signs today, who knows theres even a slim possibility he'll get paid next month!! <doh>

To be fair only Scum,Everton and Spurs want him,not like any big good clubs,any sane person would go with Leeds given that choice wouldn't they ?.
 
There has been a lot of really good signings clubs have already made, disappointing we don't even have the opportunity to get anyone for some time yet
 
Chuks Aneke rumored to join us, would be a brilliant signing.

To go into a bit more detail, from what I know of him he officially midfielder put often plays in attacking midfield/center forward role. He's a pretty big lad and scored some decent goals last season and would be a massive coup on a free transfer.

I thought he was about 23/24 but according to Wikipedia he is 20 and hes apparently good mates with Poleon.
 
Yea he is an Arsenal boy who was on loan at Crewe last season, scored 15 goals I think from midfield. We'll see what happens I guess though
 
From what I can find about him online, Aneke seems to be slow, cumbersome, and somewhat graceless, yet surprisingly effective. Height and strength can help in this league, so who knows. Could be worth a punt on a free transfer.
