if it happened I wonder if it would be closed doors or at a local club, will be in spain at the time, only a hundred miles or so away.

So Junior's surprised about transfer fees and wages. Not a shock, his experience is from a lower league. 'It’s been good to have Mark Ashton and Des Taylor – we’ve been working our socks off '. How many times do we have to read crap like the above, following on from 'my phone needs charging 4 times a day' etc etc. FFS you're in charge of Bristol City and all 3 of you are paid thousands every week. Stop moaning, get on with it and earn what most on here can only dream of.
Echoes of the owners shock and horror at what other Championship teams were paying in wages at the start of last season. Wakey wakey lads, this isn't virtual reality !!! You can read and find out what the golng rate for a transfer is, or what clubs are paying in wages all over the interweb..... Stop being so bloody naïve and acting like country bumpkins, this is supposed to be a professional outfit so act like it !
In his defence, don't think he's moaning. Think he's just trying to make us aware that they're on it.
I'm sure some of the numbers being thrown around are insane - you hear crazy stuff about how QPR's wage bill in the Championship is more than Sevilla's who won the Europa League etc. Without proper scouting, you could easily pay top whack for pretty bang average players. That said, I do kind of agree with Redprintt & Angelic - is it beneficial to anyone, us coming out and saying how surprised we are? It just makes us seem overly naive. I'd rather they said it more like: 'We've made enquiries, but some clubs/agents are asking for stupid money, so we told them to jog on and our search continues'. Sends a stronger message in my mind.
To be fair he isn't say we are surprised he is saying he is surprised. I'm sure the money men aren't that surprised. Lee isn't the one holding the purse stings after all

The worldwide prize for the most useless, inept and frustrating website for 2016 is awarded to : Cue drum roll..... The fu**in Bristol Post.
I know beggars can't be choosers in that you get the content for free, but the ads make it practically un-usable.
Worst performing website ever, bar none, that I have ever been unlucky enough to encounter. If I see any links to anything to do with the Post website I purposely avoid clicking on them now, even if it's something I do want to read.
I hate the post website lads and many times have tried to cut and paste articles but recently have given up, the problem is it's the main news feed about our club, sorry, but I will continue to use when practicable, please keep up your interest....
