Managers like people they know and trust, Junior is no different.
Some managers who are weak, in all professions, worry and remove possible threats. I'm not suggesting at all this is why Wade's leaving but who knows what's going on - and our friend Ashton could turn out to be the biggest con man we've ever known at BS3.
It's a shame we can't use Wade's undoubted talent at AG. Not just his football talent but his natural talent relating to fellow human beings.
On the other hand we might read soon Wade's taken a better role at another club.

I hope so and really wish him the best.

“We’d like to place on record our thanks to Wade for his service, both as a player and on the coaching staff

Usual blurb "place on record" wonder if his dagger is still covered in blood

I thought Wes is/was a winger primarily. He has massive amounts of pace and, when he has played out there for us in the past, I remember him playing some stunning quality balls into the box.

Our supporters seem to have a short memory when it comes to players in this position. I was desperate to keep Bolasie because I saw the raw power, pace and most importantly, the DESIRE in him but to some, £100k was good business, YEAH RIGHT...!!! <doh>

If he is happy to fight for a place on the wing, Wes will come good for us and in a big way, and I'll tell you why. In years gone by, our strikers (and midfielders) have not exactly been bursting into the box anticipating crosses from the wing, in fact, the only thing rushing into the box for us was tumbleweed.

HOWEVER, it looks like the wind of change is blowing at The Gate and, if we are going to sign players of the quality of Tomlin, then we WILL need players with Wes's pace to beat the full back and play the ball in, we just need to play him.

Getting shot now will be lunacy IMHO, he should be the supply for many years to come...

I think he was always on the cards to be released, like all PREM clubs they have a few tens of millions extra to spend and will want the decks clear to make new purchases
is he a player we want?
I am thinking of NUMBERS in our squad especially if another forward came up who was a few years younger ..he did do well here though ...
