I don't know what happened with the French try and a yellow card for Ireland. I was in the pub watching with the sound turned down. Well done Ireland, I hope the Irish lads on here have a great night.

On this performance, the Championship is Ireland's to take. Crowley's done so well, Sexton is not missed, which says a lot
Hi ColIreland are still, far and away the best team in the Northern Hemisphere and will take the Grand Slam this year.
Possibly would have been closer had France not been reduced to 14 and unfortunately I can see red cards in most games until we end up with a version of touch rugby.
Hi Col
the whole red card thing is very contentious as the game grapples with the new rules.
Both sets of fans will generally tilt towards their own team and player. A friend of mine who played the game ‘back in the day’ gave me a whole different perspective on it recently. He basically said “look on every tackle as if it was on your son”. Since he said that to me, I’ve definitely looked at these tackles differently. Last night for instance, the two tackles from Willemsea were completely reckless. No arms raised just the intention to hit hard anywhere. Those tackles have to be removed from the game……..think of your son

Doesn't help calling it child abuse, but the basic point is valid...
