My wife’s Mum was from Treherbert and Dad from Ystradgynlais - look them up on the map, Welsh rugby heartlands. She never fails to cry at the Welsh anthem. The boy is Welsh for rugby, English for football, and even in a deeply hungover state he is fully engaged with this. No way it’s not on the big telly.

I know Ystrad well - played football there many a time.
